This is a story/proluge. one of bestfranns and I are writing together  Credit goes to Lacey (merryhappyx) for the idea(:
8 years later is the unofficial name. I'm just putting it on their, we still haven't gotten a name for the story yet.

Proluge
It was five thirty pm as the sun was ready to set as it hid behind soft fluffly clouds. The sky was lined with yellow, green,purple, and orange. The day was awfully beautiful for such a sad gloomy day for Ashley and Jared.
Jared looked into Ashley’s eyes as he held her hand. His eyes where starting to water because the fact that he wasn’t going to see Ashley ever again. Ashley squeezed his hand gently as she noticed his teary eyes. They had both known eachother sense they first knew how to walk. They’ve always been inseparable. Until now.
Ashley sighed sadly as she saw her Dad get in the Uhaul. “So this is it.” Jared said to me unhappily. I looked at him “I promise to call you and talk to you whenever I can. I’m really going to miss you.” I said trying to hold back tears.
“Ashley, hurry up sweetheart.”my dad called out to me. I pulled Jared closer to me and hugged him tightly. “I’m really going to miss you.” He said as a tear rolled down his cheek. I wiped it away with my thumb. “Maybe we’ll see eachother again sometime.” I said hopefully “Maybe.” He said.
“Ashley!” my dad yelled out agitated. I gave a quick kiss on Jared’s cheek and hugged him for the last time. “good-bye.” I said “good b-bye” Jared said choking on his words.

I remember that day as if it where yesterday. I never forgot about Jared. I still think of him, we’ve lost contact for the past 4 years. I always wondered about how he was, how he looked, did he have a girlfriend, was he dead, and did he forget about me. I always found myself asking these questions.
I still cared about him, and he still would always be my bestfriend for life. I loved him. Even if we haven’t seen eachother for eight years .
I looked out my window, the sky looked the same when it was the last time I would see Jared. I sighed sadly wishing he was here. Ever since I moved it was lonely and boring. I didn’t have many friends, no bestfriends at all. I trusted no body. I did have two close friends though. Jamie and Eric. Jamie was really sweet and outgoing while Eric was the crazy daredevil. Those two are the only ones that I get along perfectly most.
I walked out the door deciding to go for a walk at the park. The air was rather warm their was a gentle breeze. I breathed in inhaling the sweet flowery smell of the air as I walked.
