I think you know when a guy truly cares and you care back is when he looks you in the eyes whenever you talk and the silence is comfortable
When you can tell him anything and he will listen
When you see him you lose your breath
Every moment is longer then it normally is
Yet the time seems to fly by as you talk late into the night
And you cannot seem to stop thinking about him
You can hear his laugh even when the whole world is laughing because that's how well you know him
Or recognize the back of his head from a far distance
And you know he cares when every time you hug you’re the one who lets go first
When you can see one small thing and it reminds you of him
You have a certain word that you say, and you smile when you hear it, without thinking first
When his smile makes you warm inside and you just can’t help but smile
When he says your name and you can't help but blush
When you always wonder what he is doing and where he is, but you trust him enough that it doesn’t matter if you ever know
The mention of his name makes you look up
When he feels sad you just want to hold him and make him feel better and safe
When you feel sad, he will be there anytime, anywhere
When he touches you, you feel his hand there for hours
When he talks to you, its like nothing else matters
When you fall asleep thinking of him
When he knows when everything is wrong and you just need someone to talk to
He can tell your sad even if you try so hard to hide it
When the world seems to stop when he looks at you from afar
He always seems to tighten around you as he hugs you
He always compliments the things you thought looked bad
He can make you smile even when you’re crying
When his kisses make you want to faint
When you mention another guys name he immediately looks at you and wants to know who he is and how you are associated with him
When the room is dark but you know he’s there beside you
He keeps on the good side of your friends
When you can see his face in your mind wherever you are
He never insults you unless it's playful
A single tear on your face is the most painful thing he has ever seen
He tells you your smile is perfect
When he walks through the door the room lights up
You wait for hours on end to see him, then when you do your heart stops, then rushes
You know his words are true by the way he says them
When his arms are around you, you feel like nothing can hurt you
He offers you things even when he knows you don't need it
When he grabs your arm and tell you not to go, you wish you could die next to him
When he races over just to give you a small hug, even when he knows you are in a rush
When he would look like a fool and stand on the side of the sidewalk, looking like a fool but not caring, just to get you back
When another guy makes you cry the first thing he says is who is he and when do I beat him up?
When the world seems unbearable but a hug from him tells you everything will be okay
He speaks to you in a lighter tone then he does with others
When the tears can’t seem to stop and he doesn’t know what’s wrong but he just holds like there’s no tomorrow
He will stay up all night talking with you, even if he's tired as hell
When you see him walk out the door and it breaks your heart, but you soon realize he will be back again and it makes it all better
He let's you decide what to do, even when he really wants to do something else
When your not afraid to be yourself around him, and you don’t have to change because he likes you for you
When he makes you smile like no one else
Every time he looks you in the eyes you fall for him all over again
When you’re wearing no make-up, you’re tired, and sick but he still thinks your the most beautiful person in the room
When he has a special secret and only you know
When you talk to him for hours and the flame is still burning by the end of the night
Being away from him for a few days is the hardest thing you have ever done
When your gone for just a few minutes, but it seems like hours
When you leave him for a few day but when you come back, he’s waiting right where you left him
He says good night to you every night
When he makes you feel like the most beautiful girl in the room even when there’s a gorgeous model next to you
When you can't keep any secrets from him no matter how hard you try
When he doesn’t care what mistakes you’ve made, he welcome the good and forgets the bad
When your family does not like him, but he doesn’t run away, he tells you it doesn't matter what they think, all he wants is you
When your love is stronger than the doubts that you here on the streets
He's the one you call when you're in trouble
When he’s willing to take any risk, just to be with you for any amount of time
If your going to jump he’s going to jump with you
He will still hold your hand even if it seems you could break all his bones

It’s impossible for him to go a day without thinking of you
His fingers wrapped around your neck is a feeling you can never forget
He has a certain way of looking at you, that gives you goose bumps
When you are talking and there is a moment of silence where you both know that this is something to treasure
When he knows just what to say to calm you down
When you put a crying face as a joke and he asks what's wrong
When he so easily forgives you for everything
He tries very hard to make you happy all the time
Even the awkward parts of a conversation, seem to help in some way
He says sorry way too much
If it would make you happy, he’d steal the world
When your song comes on the radio and you know no other song is better, so you sing to yourself
He can tell you with his smile how much he really cares
You’d give him your heart if you could but, he’d tell you to take his instead
You would risk your life for him, but he wouldn't let you
If you were dying, he would put his dreams on hold and use all his money to get the best doctors, because you are his dream come true
His kisses make you never want to leave his side
When he asks do you have to go, when its time for you to go home
He would write you a million songs and poems if you asked
When he can’t help but watch you as you walk away
He would hold you in his arms from one end of the universe to the other
He would rather sit in silence with you for days then be apart and only allowed to write letters
When you wake up with a smile and know he’s thinking about you too.
Every time he holds you, fireworks go off in the background
When he doesn’t push you to tell him, he waits until you’re ready
When you’re about to make a huge mistake he lets you, even though it kills him, because he knows you have to learn
When his voice is the most soothing thing you’ve ever heard
When he sits and watches you for hours, and he thinks it the most wonderful feeling ever
His words mean more to you then if the president called you up
He’d love you even if you dressed in a bird suit and clucked up and down the streets |
