I held the sword in front of me as Payne held his.
“Ready?”
“I’m going to take you out this time!” I yelled with a smirk.
“I’ll take that as a yes.” He rushed forward; I whipped my sword straight through the middle of the air clanking it against his. “You’re getting better.”
“Getting? Man I’m so totally slashing you in the eye!” He pulled back as I whipped the sword through the air again. He blocked it, I jabbed the sword toward him stabbing him in the leg.
“Good.” He praised I gave a bow.
“That wasn’t just good! That was awesome!” He raced forward pinning me to the ground with the blade on my throat. Payne grinned.
“Now I have you right where I want you.”
“Oh contraire! I have you right where I want YOU.” I pressed my lips onto his and pulled the sword away.
“That was beautiful!” Sonia gasped. Taking as many pictures as her frog camera allowed.
“Remember you’re shot Sonia!” Payne grinned.
“Not the needle!” Gossamer held her while she dug her nails into his chest. “The needle!” She hissed “The needle!”
“Get over it!” I hollered.
“I can’t! It’s scary!” I shook my head and went inside taking a shower and walking into my room, al as quiet, but everyone always know when the saying ‘all was quiet’ pops up then it’s not going to be so quiet anymore.
“So that’s what I smelled.” I pulled out a dagger from underneath my pillow, excepting it to be Valentine, surprisingly not. “Well now, aren’t we dangerous?” they just stood there in the shadows of my room staring at me.
“Who are you?”
“I’m Vance, I know what you know about already and I’ll assure you I’m not a vampire nor am I a werewolf. I’m a blooding.”
“A what?” I never put the dagger down.
“A blooding, I’m vampire and werewolf combined, when a mommy vampire and a daddy werewolf love each other-.”
“No! Just stop right there! I don’t want to hear the rest, I get it.”
“Good, but I smelt something special coming from this room and well … I wanted to know what it was.”
“You’ll have to leave in a week though.”
“What makes you say that?”
“You’re part vampire right? You have to go and-.”
“That’s only for VAMPIRES, I’m only part.”
“Dam.”
“So I’ll be here for the whole month, or two.”
“And I’ll be ready to kick you’re -.”
“Must you use such hurtful words?”
“Payne!” I screamed. Vance covered my mouth grabbing the hand with the dagger in it.
“Quiet, you wouldn’t want to disturb anyone’s slumber.”
“Lenore?” Vance sighed.
“Too late.” Payne opened the door. Vance pinned me against the wall behind it.
“Lenore?” He called, upon seeing the empty room he went to explore the rest of the house. Vance glared at me.
“So you’re name is Lenore? So pretty, too bad I’m only a hunter.”
“What?” I hissed as he uncovered my mouth.
“I only hunt you THINGS called humans for food, nothing more.”
“You little-.” Sonia swung open the door slamming it against my head. “Owe!” I screamed. “That was my head!”
“Found her!” Sonia declared happily as she stared at me and Vance.
“Sonia.” I hissed, “Notice anything awkward here?”
“Who’s that?”
“Vance milady.” His eyes glittered at the sight of Sonia.
“And Vance! ... Wait.” Sonia thought for a moment. “Oh my god!” she screamed. “There’s a rapist in the house!”
“No I’m a hunter.” He corrected. He threw me down on my bed and wrapped one arm around Sonia’s waist. “I think I’ll go to this festival if I can see you.” Vance grinned.
“Gossamer!”
“How many people live in this blasted house?”
“Four that was the last one.” I declared. Payne and Gossamer rushed to the door.
“Bulky fellow aren’t we?” he examined Gossamer, then Payne. “And you look rather emo.”
“What do you want?” Gossamer snarled rather savagely, he must’ve had anger issues when it came to someone taking Sonia.
“Well, you see, at first I was going to come up here and drink the living out of that worthless human. But now I might have to take a nip at this one, she might just look better than she tastes.”
“You aren’t going to touch Sonia.”
“And you will not lay another hand on Lenore!”
“To for the price of one! Oh goodie!”
“Don’t!” they both growled at the same time.
“So what is it? Shall I follow you on you’re little trip or stay here and mercilessly murder this innocent little girl?”
“Don’t hurt Lenore! And I’m not worth you’re trouble.”
“Sonia! I swear! If I hear you say that again!” I growled. “You aren’t worthless! You’re my best friend! That counts for more than life! And you have a lot of guys that like you … some are ugly but most are cute! And you have one guy that you’re eternally bonded with that loves you unconditionally!” I snarled.
“Lovely speech.” Vance said sarcastically. “I’ll just follow the quiet one.”
“Oh, she’s not quiet.”
“I like active girls.” He grinned kissing Sonia on the cheek then vanishing.
“Why does everybody just vanish like that?”
“Lenore are you alright?” Payne rushed past Sonia and cradled me in his arms I felt my heart melt.
“I’m fine. Sonia, are you ok?”
“Yes, but maybe mentally damaged ... Or scared.” I laughed.
(Gossamer can also be compared to a similar person that is real named Casey that Shelbye should really … really … REALLY … date.) |
