I dreamt of Venom, he had returned, but I didn’t know how that could be, considering the fact that his head was ripped off, then left with his two henchmen who’s names escape me. The dream or … nightmare ended with Venom whispering in my ear.
“I’m coming for you.”
“Wake up Honey!” A week had rolled by and I got to watch Sonia get fat, although I screamed jokes in my head I knew she’d hate me for saying them aloud for coming here to get together with the man that wanted to breed her. “Guess who’s going to be born tonight?”
“I was wondering why you were so happy.” I grunted, grouchy. Then tonight I would take Sonia’s Lamborghini put her in the back with that kid and run over Centric in my escape! Although I didn’t know if I was going to be able to run him over but I was dreaming it … or wishing … hoping … praying … begging really.
“Sonia has kept calling him Theo.”
“What if it’s a girl?”
“Then we slaughter it and start again.”
“Oh, if that’s all.” I was freaking out in my head, why the hell would you slaughter a little child you freak! I should just chop you’re head off with the knife that’s under my pillow right now.
“I’m glad you understand.” I held back my anger trying to sound as fine as I could.
“Of course.” He kissed y cheek walking out of the room after taking one last glance back to me. I saw it in his eyes; he didn’t have the same feelings for me as before and I was overjoyed!
I swung my legs over the railing of the balcony in Valentine’s room wondering how big of a mess I would make if I jumped, although I wasn’t planning on jumping, but it really bugged me to know.
“Having fun princess?” Valentine purred by my ear, I smiled and looked to him ‘I had a dream last night.”
“Oh really of what?”
“Do you know Payne’s cousin, Venom?”
“I never liked him, he was a real pain in my backside, sure we both wanted to kill Payne, but we also wanted to kill each other and he kept ruining my plans!”
“I had a … nightmare about him, he said he’s coming.”
“Well then we can tell him that Payne-.”
“No, Venom is dead, Gossamer killed him, Gossamer worked for Venom originally.”
“Wow, it’s just a nightmare, it doesn’t mean anything.”
“The last one I had with him in it got me ended up marrying him.” I shivered Valentine hugged me.
“It’s alright, I’ll fight for you.”
“Don’t die.”
“I can’t promise anything, fate is the only one who knows that.” I felt his grip tighten on my arms then he fell tot eh ground pulling at his hair and screaming to the sky, I walked toward him placing my hand on his back as he lay there on the ground after his spastic attack.
“Valentine?” I whispered worriedly.
“I’m ok.” He announced, I sighed with relief.
“Were you TRYING to scare me?”
“Maybe.” I grinned as he gazed into my terrible brown eyes and I looked into his marble blue ones. “Can I have a kiss?” he pleaded.
“Not now, if centric sees us then I’m busted.” I whispered low.
“Whatever you say, sweetheart.” He kissed my cheek and turned away. Since when did he call me sweetheart?
I looked back to the sky, the sun was done, and the moon was full, time for Payne.
“The baby is coming!” I heard Sonia scream as I began walking out of Valentine’s room, I raced to her bedroom; the Theo was already out and in a blanket, a blue blanket.
“Little Theo is mine now.” I heard Centric purr gazing at Theo with glittering eyes. I then saw the butcher knife in his hand behind his back as he stalked toward Sonia she sat up sweating.
“Now let me out of here or I’ll run out.”
“I can’t let you leave Sonia.” He growled pulling the knife into the air and aiming to Sonia’s throat, I screamed rushing to her and grabbing Centric’s wrist.
“And I can’t let you do that.”
“What are you doing you little piece of mince meat!” Valentine walked tot eh door, composed and calm. Not even when he saw me struggling with the knife did he grow enraged. He kind of reminded me of … Venom. His blue eyes boring into me I turned away and ripped the knife out of Centric’s hand.
“Sonia run to the Lamborghini!”
“My car is here?”
“Yes and in perfect condition.”
“Alright!” she raced to the door and Valentine grabbed her wrist. Pulling her into his arms then vanished.
“You give me Theo I leave you alone forever.”
“No! He’s MY child!” Centric grasped my throat and swung me down on the floor my head smashing against the ground as blood spat out of my mouth.
“Time for me to settle this score.” I stabbed him in eh leg then hacked away till he grabbed my wrist pulling me into the air.
“You’re getting on my last nerve.”
“You have no nervous system!”
“GIRL!” he threw me out the door I braced myself fro impact instead someone caught me. “Valentine! I told you I’d have no mercy.”
“I’m sorry sir, but THIS Valentine serves no one but himself.”
“I should just-.” Valentine rushed to the car and slammed eh door shut as he sat in the back, Sonia quickly put it in reverse and floored it down the road.
“Now aren’t you glad that I street race?” I gripped the seat as she went faster.
“I don’t know, can I get back to you on that … if we live?”
“Where’s Theo?” We were silent, she slammed on the brakes, and I gripped the dashboard to keep from flying out.
“We can’t go get him yet.”
“Why-.”
“Hello everybody.” I looked back to see Payne sitting next to Valentine.
“So, how was hell?” I questioned.
“The same, you know Satan is thinking of abortion! Through out the world for all mothers!”
“What are you trying to tell me?” Sonia questioned then began driving again, once we were about five miles away Payne pointed to an abandoned dirt road.
“That road, go there and you’ll find Gossamer and Edward.”
“Is there anyone guarding it?”
“Two men.”
“You’re going to help right?” I questioned flashing my lashes.
“No, I can’t but Valentine can, and beware, I overheard Satan talking about how Venom has been on a killing spree.”
“He’s back?” I gulped. “How’d he live?”
“Supposedly his henchmen brought him back.”
“I’ll kill him before he can touch you Lenore, don’t worry.”
“And I have something to tell you.” Payne growled turning to Valentine. “If you betray her, so help me, I’ll kill you, Lenore loves you a lot, and I know Edward won’t but you I’m watching you.” He was gone in flames.
“Well, that was delightful, so shall we go and slaughter some men mindlessly?”
“I can dig it!” Sonia screamed, somehow her stomach was normal already, like the vampire in her healed it already. I shrugged and got out of the car. |
