“Finally, we’re here.” Venom sighed as he straightened up from just carrying Sonia and I out of the van. He unbound my legs along with Sonia’s and pulled me up to him. “And I think we have a couple minutes alone.” I gulped.
“You know, maybe after you get that stuff from Payne, then you could-.”
“Non-sense, I like playing with my food.”
“F-food?”
“Vampire!” Sonia screamed in excitement, yes you’d think that she’d be wrecking her pants right now, but no, Sonia was just as excited as I was (or more) about meeting a vampire for the very first time.
“In a sense I guess you could say that I am, but really, because of my abilities I am and infinitive.”
“What’s that?” Sonia questioned. Venom rolled his eyes.
“You’re distracting me now keep quiet.” He turned his gaze back to me; I looked up into his marble eyes, they were swirling with a white mist, and I could see his pupil growing larger, he was hungry. ‘You smell delicious’ the words ran through my head, quoting him.
“Are you going to bite me?”
“Not only am I going to turn you into one of us, I am going to make you mine. You’re the Vampire expert Lenore, what does biting on Holy Ground mean?”
“No!” I screamed, he was going to make me one of his mindless vampire zombies, It was like in the book Vampire Kisses, the second one, where Jagger was going to bite Raven on Holy ground but she wanted Alexander to do it. Only I didn’t have any Alexander to save me.
“I thought that you wanted to become a vampire?”
“Only if I LOVE him, but otherwise NO!”
“You confessed you’re love to me in the van.”
“That was sarcasm.”
“Oh,” he shrugged. “Ok then, I guess I’ll just have to bite you regardless.”
“Don’t!” I screamed, he wrapped his arm around my waist and backed me up into a weeping willow. “Stop it! No!” I begged in panic.
“By the will of the Devil…” he purred, cold breath spilling out from his stone lips, and sending chills up my spine. Venom held my neck against the bark of the tree with one hand. “I condemn you … Lenore CeSeal …” he smelt my neck with his icy nostril. “To become my servant of the Devil, and allow me to mend you’re will.” I felt him suck in a large amount of breath, as Venom lashed toward my Jugular he was pelted into. |
