Recap of Chapter 8:
Lester and Abigail unfurnished out the barn, and settled in. Abigail parked her body onto a bundle of hay. Lester started to mix raw eggs, brought by the chickens. Abigail fell asleep still drained from the calamity, going on.

Abigail’s eyes unfastened, slowly, like a chain being unlocked. She blinked a few times, and then gradually looked up. Her eyes were still in a squinting position. She noticed it wasn’t the farm. It was sinister and empty. It was like a dark menacing room, filled with meaninglessness…
Silence filled the room. From the other end, came a shriek. Abigail gasped at what she saw…
Chapter 9:
There in an obscure and portentous figure was a beautiful, womanly shadow. She walked closer to Abigail. For an unidentified reason she looked memorable. As if Abigail had seen her before.
“Who-who are you?” Abigail stuttered, as her eyes emerged askance, in curiosity. “My, dear don’t you realize who I am?” The woman asked moderately, sufficient.
“I don’t understand.” Abigail said, preoccupied. Abigail knew that she felt a physically powerful vibe among her. She just didn’t want to acknowledge that she had views of knowing her in a system, just not in person.
“Oh dear Abigail, think harder, it’ll come to you.” She told her, beaming blissfully. Abigail fastened her eyes compactly, and thought rigorously. Abigail reflected, imagined, anticipated but she couldn’t come to any assured consideration.
“I’m sorry. I truly don’t know who you are.” Abigail confessed, as she formed a distressing expression.
“It is me darling. Your mother, your birth mother.” She confirmed, as to some extent smiling.
Abigail directly plunged to the floorboards despite the actuality that all these years she thought her mother was dead. “M-m-m…” Abigail was tremendously devastated, as of being glued to the floor in unconditional disclosure, that she wasn’t able to finish her sentence.
“I have a lot of clearing up to be completed. Now sit down, and relax.” Her mother calmly said, as she helped Abigail up.
“But-but your-your…dead!” Abigail bawled, in disbelief that she fundamentally managed to speak. “Aren’t you?”
“Oh, my sweet little Abigail. I have much to tell you.” Abigail’s mother uttered.
“Mother? Mother? Mother?!?! But if you were really alive all this time, you would’ve come to me!” Abigail hollered with irritably watered filled eyes.
“Don’t get upset—“
Abigail cut her mother off, before her sentence was finished.
“How could I not get upset?!?! You left me, while everyone told me you were dead!! Did you know how I felt?!” Abigail furiously bellowed, as she stood up. “I felt like I was alone, covered in dark streets of agony!” Abigail shouted, as tears streamed, rapidly down her broad, dirty cheeks. Abigail sobbed as she tried to muddle through to speak, but her tears kept coming and her weeping was uncontrollable.
“Listen, I am sorry. I need to tell you my side of the story.” Abigail’s mother started. “When I delivered you as a baby, I didn’t die, what happened was I was kidnapped subsequently after your birth. Nobody was ever to see me, so they suspected I was dead. The reason why they kidnapped me was my side of the family was richer than your true father’s, so they wanted my wealth.”
Abigail’s tears dried, up as she stopped sniveling. “So I tried to escape for all these years, but as I got older, my weakness increased and I gave up. But then I realized I should never give up on my daughter. So I escaped as of today, and brought you here with me.”
Abigail didn’t say anything but embrace her mother, as her arms wrapped around her, causing a warming hug.
“I’m sorry. I’ll never leave you, ever.” Abigail’s mother whispered, in her ear as she hugged her securely, bringing her closer into her arms. “I love you, mother.” Abigail spoke softly, as she closed her eyes, gladly as a sensitive grin like a shaft of light appearing on her face.
Unexpectedly Abigail’s mother heaped a lungful of air, as her arms loosened, as she held her stomach, unbearably.
“Mother! Mother! What’s wrong?!” Abigail shouted alarmed and frightened. Abigail’s mother dropped to the ground. Behind where her mother lay, was a knife, almost as long as a sword, with ruby red blood oozing around it.

A/N: I hope you guys liked this part. I wanted to add a twist to this chapter. It took me a long time to figure things out, in this chapter. But now it’s out. Comment and rate please. =] |
