A/N: I’m TERRIBLY sorry for the longest wait ever. I left you guys off with an interesting part, for ages. I just had so much going on, lately. High school, the second year just ended for me, and yeah, I had three other series I had to continue, and other personal matters. This one apparently had to wait. But here it is now. Enjoy.
Recap of Chapter 5:
“Ahh! Lira, run!” Abigail screamed, as she spotted three men with five blood hounds across about twenty meters away. Abigail ran as fast as she could for the same with Lira. They both noticed an old graveyard behind a broken down church, probably from ages ago; they ran and hid behind a bulky gravestone, quivering and breathing extremely deeply. “Don’t—breathe—as—heavy.” Lira told her, while saying it word by word, since of heavy breathing. “Shh!” Abigail told her as the blood hounds scampered along into the graveyard, with the three men.
Abigail felt her heart strike, thump, beat, bash, wallop, and she might of heard Lira’s heart beat as well as hers. Then she heard footsteps fade away. Abigail thought the coast was clear; the same with Lira, so lira took a step out to continue their expedition.
“No! Lira!” Abigail yelled, just realizing that the blood hounds were still there. But moreover too late…Abigail watched unspeakably Lira get murdered and killed, ripped to shreds by the blood hound’s fierce, razor-sharp teeth. Their firm teeth were too sharp they cut through her flesh.
Abigail just stood their completely and dreadfully traumatized.
Chapter 6:
Abigail’s tears dashed down, her grimy cheeks. Abigail, couldn’t do anything, about this fateful incident, she was staring at a dead body, just been murdered, by blood hounds two minutes ago. How daunting. She had to escape, while they were still scrubbing out her inside out. She quietly, aligned with the gravestones, struggled to stoop down and sort of limp at the same time. When she was out of the tombstones, she noticed that the blood hounds had seen her. Abigail darted, as fast as she could while breathless and panting. She was out of breathing, air. But she didn’t pass the time. She sprinted down across the grubby paddock, and then she stopped, for a split second, and scuttled behind a dozen amounts of trees. Most were slanted, and broken down. Abigail held her breath while the dogs ambled by, so they couldn’t hear her heavy breathing.
They strolled by, they weren’t suspicious, so they kept on walking. “Come, on boys, nothing here. She must have gotten away.” One of the men, with the dogs stated, as he grumbled. Abigail held her breath for a few while, in case. She then scampered, back to where Lira, lay deceased, and life-less.
Abigail took the weight off her feet, by kneeling down, in the gravel.
“Lira, I’m so sorry,” Abigail spoke, softly, “I should’ve never brought you along here to my trip just for my sake, of Lester.” Abigail’s dry tears, turned into drenched tears again. One of them splattered on Lira’s bony, exposed, and skinless cheeks. She cried even more, as she looked genuinely at Lira. The more she stared at her, the more tears formed in Abigail’s eyes.
“Truly, I could’ve never gotten this far, without you, Lira.” Abigail whispered, as she swabbed her tears away. Saying Lira’s name, made Abigail feel, of inferior quality. Abigail shed tears, over and over again, uncontrollably. “I…” Abigail wasn’t able to finish her sentence, because of the major weeping she had done, and was still doing. “I miss you already, Lira.” Abigail finally managed, as she cried even louder, hysterically.
“Sorry.” Abigail said fully, sitting down, desperately. “I’m so sorry, Lira. I’m sorry.” Abigail gushed, quietly. She stood up, and walked in close propinquity to a flowering shrub, full of growing lilies. Abigail picked all the best ones she could find, and positioned it next to Lira.
“Goodbye, Lira. I’ll never forget you.” Abigail murmured, silently. She sat there calm, for a few moments, then stood, up and continued with her journey. Even if she had lost a great friend, that didn’t mean she had to lose everything else.
Abigail walked in the daylight, until shadows of darkness filled the midnight sky. Abigail had no breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Abigail hungrily kept walking, until she spotted the sign Tennessee. “T-T-Tennessee.” Abigail said, while in astonishment, unbelievably. Abigail then started dashing away, and spotted a whole entire locality. There were houses, and a whole nieghbourhood. It was a phenomenon. Abigail had finally reached to Lester’s area. She kept running, even if she was weary, and ambitious for food.
Unexpectedly, while Abigail’s pleasure, of finding the pits of her beloved’s home, a hand grabbed her mouth, and hauled her into a tree. Abigail bawled, not able to see who the person was in the nightfall. “Mmm! Mmm!” Abigail tried to yell. The person let go, then Abigail saw who it was. Lester.
