Authors note: sorry it has been forever. Enjoy -amanda

It had been almost a month since she had spoken with Nicolas and she felt such a fierce wanting for him that it was nearly killing her. She wouldn’t allow herself to even see him, knowing the reaction her body would have if she had. The words she had said to him caused regret to haunt her every thought. She wanted so badly to give in to her body, but she thought better than to do so. She still prayed the feelings would leave her, even though they grew strong not seeing him. So she agreed to a dinner with one of Greece’s most handsome nobles, and she regretted that also.

“You’re extremely beautiful Lady Annalise.” Sir Andrew Omirou stated, smile so white it nearly blinded Annalise. She rolled her eyes and politely smiled at his compliment. His attempts to cloak her mind were truly pathetic. She would rather have kissed the turkey that she was eating then him. His charm and beauty fooled Annalise for not second. His reputation was much more well-known than he had realize she assumed. She had been well informed by her cousin that he was only in search of one thing, from every girl he met with.

Annalise felt his eyes leave her face and slowly travel down her body, she glanced up catching him moments before he reached her chest. An aggravated sigh escaped her lips catching him off guard, and caused him to sense the loathing Annalise had for this dinner. He realized he was losing at his attempt.

“My lady I wanted to thank you for having me for dinner, I would never have thought a lady of your status would have even given a man like me the blessing of your presence.” He reached his hand out slowly and placed it on Annalise’s. She looked up amused at his attempt and stupidity but did not pull away or let the angry words escape her throat. This dinner was rather boring and entertainment was needed, and Annalise knew just what to do that was fool the fool using his own games against him. She stood up slowly, a seductive look placed on her face, and gracefully walked over to him, his eyes widened.

“Your are real man Sir Andrew.” She placed her hand on his shoulder, rubbing it gently before grabbing his jaw and tilting it upward and placing her lips to his ear, “And I need a real man.” She whispered into his ear needingly. She felt a smile spread across his cheeks before she grabbed his chair and spun it around suddenly causing his heart to race. She placed both her hands on his coat and pushed it off his shoulders slowly, lxst glistened in his eyes.

“Would you like to take me elsewhere my lady, somewhere more private like the upstairs bedrooms.” His tone filled with victory, amusing Annalise. She then pulled his dress up slightly, before sitting on his lap, straddling him. She again placed her lips to his ear.

“I think we have all the privacy we need right here.” She whispered before pushing his body back against the chair. He groaned in delight kissing Annalise’s neck harshly his hands grasping her sides. Annalise places both her hands on the table behind him, hunching herself forward. His hands than left his side and trailed upwards to her brexsts, squeezing them. This amused Annalise.

“Oh Andrew do you like my brexsts?” She purred, as seductively as she could, he nodded, lips leaving her neck and speeding towards her face. She grabbed a hold of what she wanted.

“And how about these brexsts !!” She yelled taking 2 turkey breast cuts and slamming them on both sides of his cheeks. His expression became horrified as she scrambled off him, “You men are all the same, lustful pigs.” She dropped the meat and stormed out of the room in a huff.

The night had grown darker, the sunless night enclosed the castle leaving a hazy mist on the grounds that dampened Annalise’s soft shoes with each step she took towards the gardens. The night had also brought a cool breeze that sent shivers down Annalise’s bare shoulders as she entered the flowery gardens. Her cement bench was cold and damp, awakening Annalise’s senses from her thoughts. She pulled her legs onto the bench and hugged them controlling the emotions that raced through her mind. Her eyes followed pieces of cement that lay silently on the ground, leading her to a small fountain. She closed her eyes and dreamed of one of the few memories she had.

“Well pardon me for not wanting you to leave.” Her laughter arose, Nicolas’s surprised and desirable expression overcame his flawless face, “You did not want me to leave?”

Her eyes shot open, preventing her from falling farther into her dreams of the past. Hot tears formed in the corner of her eyes as she remembered the other memory she swore to forget. The pain on Nicolas’s face as she walked away, leaving the only man that had ever truly cared for her, even in the short amount of time that he had known her. The pain on his face showed Annalise’s that her actions could not be reversed, that he would not forgive her. The tears fell faster down her cheeks, her nose becoming sickly. She placed her head into her knee’s allowing a whimper to echo throughout the silent garden.

“Why?”she whimpered in between gasps for air. She vision became fogged as a figure stepped through the fog offering a hand to her. Nicolas’s face was shining with his bright smile, “Lady Annalise?”

“Nicolas?!?!” She awoke her mind and jolted her head up, looking around anxiously, seeing no one. A sigh was released at her foolish daydreams before she wiped the tears from her eyes and stood up carefully.

“I’m sorry.” She whispered to her image of Nicolas before walking slowly inside the castle.
