Authors Note: Sorry it has been a little while, i have been very busy lately for some odd reason. Either way here it is, excuse any poor grammer.

The hours flew by unconsciously as Annalise Ashford and Nicolas Blain walked hand in hand through the castle gardens. They chatted so intensely with each other it was possible they could light the gardens on fire. Their meeting was a misdoing, for no good would come out of a Loyal’s daughter finding fancy in the castle dishwasher. Yet the thought never once crossed their minds, they were in a bubble, so deeply in this bubble that neither one of them could return unharmed.

“So how did you exactly come to be locked in the closet with Sir Richard?” Nicolas question was filled with humor of the memory. Annalise rolled her eyes thinking of a response that did not sound vain and shallow. No response came to mind.

“You will have to excuse my ignorance. I had 2 glasses of wine and he was very convincing. My mind was elsewhere that night.” Annalise spoke without mentioning his hypnotizing beauty, for she wanted to sound as shameless as possible. Nicolas laughed at her mere attempt.

“Is that so? So you were completely blind as to his outer beauty?” Nicolas spoke in a mocking tone that irritated Annalise greatly. She dropped his hand rapidly and glowered at him before turning her back to him.

“I grow tired of your low thoughts of my judgment Nicolas.” Her anger amused Nicolas who chuckled before seizing her hand and spinning her body around fast enough to give her whiplash. She froze not even 5 inches from his face which pulsed of intensity and seriousness, and no hint of a smile appeared.

“Annalise Rose Ashford. I do not think low of you in anyway. I find mere amusement in your misjudgment. Everyone has their misjudgments and mistakes that they find shame in. Your misjudgments do no change who you are. You are still a beautiful lady both on the inside and outside and I find it impossible to have any low thoughts of you.” His cool breath whirled through Annalise’s head causing her to lose complete consciousness of her mind. Her senses numbed, except for her sight which focused only on him. Her breath slowed, no words were spoken, and no sound was heard, their eyes did the communicating, staring at each other passionately. Minutes passed as neither one spoke, or moved, not wanting to return to reality. But reality had its own mind. Blackness closed around Annalise as she only active sense was lost. She did not feel herself falling, nor did she hear Nicolas’s voice which shouted in fear. A loud ringing buzzed in Annalise’s mind, awakening her.

“ANNALISE!” Her eye shot open and a dry burst of air ran into her body. Her eyes shot to her sides which were being held by Nicolas, inches from the ground.

“What happened?” Her voice was strained as another sharp breath ripped through her throat. Relief washed over Nicolas’s face as he smiled.

“You fainted.” He said simply. Annalise laughed at herself.

“I must have forgotten to breathe. The intensity of your eyes can be mind blowing. I would have forgotten who I was if you weren’t screaming my name.” His arms supported her as Annalise stood up dizzily.

“To be completely truthful I feel the same way.” Nicolas guided Annalise toward a small rock a few feet from them. Annalise wished the rock was further from them, for she much enjoyed being held so close to him.

“About?” She was placed gently on the rock by Nicolas who joined her, sitting so close their legs touched. Annalise felt her mind going blank again and reminded herself to breathe.

“The intensity of not only your eyes, but you yourself can cause me such damage that I am blinded, confused, and utterly mindless in your presence.” Nicolas gently lifted Annalise’s hand and placed it into his own. Shock washed over Annalise’s face as her blood froze. No man has ever said that to her, no man had ever felt as she did. Nicolas was just as deep in their bubble as she was, and this terrified her. The fact that he was a dishwasher overcame her mind. She knew how deep she was in, but she never imaged he would feel the same way. They barely knew each other, and there were many things keeping them apart. Her mind only thought of one word ‘dishwasher’. She stood up, confused and glanced down at Nicolas. ‘dishwasher, dishwasher’ This was no longer a small crush, he felt as true as she did. Now she knew there was nothing to stop her feelings from growing even more. Now she knew what she had brought upon herself.

“Annalise?” Nicolas rose to stand with her, Annalise stepped back, her heart ached knowing what she was about to do. ‘dishwasher, dishwasher’

“I ca-can-can’t do this. I must return. This has to end.” Her heart throbbed in pain, Nicolas’s brows wrinkled, confused.

“But it has barely begun.” His voice sounded shaky, hurt. A jolt of pain ran through Annalise’s heart at his tone.

“And is already to strong! I am the daughter of a Loyal, and you…” She stopped the words that raced through her mind from escaping her mouth, “This cannot work! We barely know each other! I don’t even know your middle name, your family, your aspirations, anything about you, except that you are a dishwasher, and we could never be together.” She kept her expression cold, holding in the warm tears that built behind her eyes. She turned around, her back to him, and walked forward slowly, “I must go.” Annalise felt Nicolas’s eyes burning into her back as she walked, she felt the warm tear fall down her cheek and the regret she had for doing this, and knew that it was the right thing. The feelings would leave her, she barely knew him and there were other men in the world, right? She hoped this was true, but a feeling inside her knew it wasn’t.
