This year, I've entered NaNoWriMo. If you'd like to add me as a friend, you can find me under the username dandelion-. I've chosen to rewrite a short-story contest-entry I did a few years back, some of you might remember it. It was called The Alphabet Killer. Although I lost the original, the site I posted it to kind of ate it, I've decided to continue with that idea. So, my chosen genre is horror-thriller. It's my favourite genre, and the one I feel I write the best. Although, I do enjoy writing romance. However, I'll leave you with what I wrote for my novel synopsis.

The Alphabet Killer
Detective Rylee Collins has never seen anything like these killings in the whole of her career. Since childhood, Rylee has been obsessed with serial killers. Gruesome details have never bothered her in the slightest. She had always wanted to be a police-officer, but once she'd obtained that title, it wasn't enough. And now, Rylee is stuck in the middle of a serial killer's paradise. Each kill get's bloodier than the last and for once, Rylee isn't sure she's good enough to stop him. And then a sixteen-year-old girl get's dragged into it. For Rylee, it's about finding and stopping a killer. But for Kallie Summers, its about life or death - her own.

Currently Untitled; NaNoWriMo Project Two
Ashton Thompson - your average rebellious youth. She's the kind of girl who doesn't take kindly to the word no, lives for the spotlight, and enjoys every moment of every day. She's the kind of girl who adores parties, alcohol, cigarettes - and has tried everything at least once. And then it happens. The worst type of party, where nothing goes according to plan, everyone drinks a little too much, and no really has no meaning at all - to anyone. Ashton can no longer enjoy every moment, and suddenly, the light at the end of the tunnel has gone out. She's alone, she's frightened, and not even her girlfriend can help her. After all, who could possibly understand how it feels to have their life snatched away?
