I dunno, it was just an idea. I mainly just don't think Shadow would want to date Amy, nor would Amy want to date Shadow. He'd be much more likely to date Rouge than Amy, and since he and Rouge aren't a couple, I just don't see him with anyone else. Shadow's too independent for a relationship, and Amy might not want to risk getting into a relationship with someone other than Sonic.

Maybe I'm just being dumb, but it doesn't seem very in canon to me. >.>

I just got the impression that it wasn't a dating thing per se; more of an attempt to get Sonic jealous by seeming so. Shadow wouldn't date Amy at all, and I don't really see him dating anyone, to be honest. He'd be a good friend of Rouge, but there wouldn't be anything romantic between them.

I didn't plan on having Rouge date him either, I don't think Shadow would reciprocate, I saw it more of her hitting on Shadow to make Knuckles jealous, but whatever. I'll just save my ideas for my Sonic BB thing. I just don't see Amy as doing something like that in any case, but it's not my choice to make. >.>
