Can't edit posts?

for some reason, TDP won't let me edit my posts in the forums....which is resulting in large amounts of double posting, which no one wants.

Is anyone else having this problem? I think I saw Aaron post something somewhere about it...oh, and I also can't use quick reply?

As explained here: http://www.thedollpalace.com/forum/s...quest-bug.html the problem is down to Firefox. This site doesn't really play well with Firefox. We put a fix in the FAQ for Firefox users:

A: These features do not work properly in the Mozilla Firefox browser. Editing can be done by right clicking the "Edit" button and selecting "open in new tab". To use the other features, you must switch to another browser.

I don't use Firefox; I use Safari. Is is essentially the same problem though?

Yep, this always happens to me. I used to be able to edit my posts occasionally, but now it's a surefire fail.

I never even use quick reply, so that's of no impact. I will try the open in new tab trick, though.

Pretty much; think this site is only really compatible with Internet Explorer.

I tested this (edit and quick reply) with different browsers a while ago and IIRC Opera and Google Chrome also worked.

Huh. I downloaded IE 5.something, because IE 8 isn't compatible with Mac. Still doesn't work. Maybe I should try Chrome or Opera.

EDIT: Nevermind; Chrome works great! You can lock this now if you want.
