Going to be a sophomore this year! Ugh and school starts next Thursday. Danget!

I'm taking a class on oral interpretation, a class on rhetoric (getting graded for arguing? Yes please! ), German 101, and Intro to Human Disease. And speech team. Lol, I find it funny when people don't ever want to take English if they get to university/college, but I'm the same way with math classes. I want as little as possible, please!

LOL Bridie! I'd love a class where you get to argue. My parents think I could be a lawyer considering I'm very good at it. I'm also hoping that with the program I'm in I could get my college English credits done before I graduate highschool!

Running start?
I just started going to class with the seniors. Used to, we would have classes online in a special classroom. Now since the program has somewhat ended I have to join whatever class with the older students.

In Spokane, Washington (where I live) there is a program called running start that all the high schools do, and when you are a junior (when you can start driving) you can start going to college to get college credits but the classes you taken still count towards your high school credits. The local colleges (community and one university) work with the high schools to get students into college sooner, so you could graduate from high school with a high school degree and an AA (or credits towards the degree you are pursuing). A girl in my nursing school class is 18, she just graduated from high school less than half a year before she got into the program. (most of the rest of us are 20 and older).

Its a really great program, and in hind sight i should have taken advantage of it, but oh well.
