Drills and the real things

I would start freaking out.
when my dad taught in a high school, the high school had a program for little kids from Korea to learn English after school ended. and a young 8-9 year old was learning English there and one day she saw one of those Fire alarms and she saw the word, Pull. So she pulled it because that was one of the few English words she knew xD
and another time a prankster pulled the fire alarm everyday at lunch for three days, and since my dad worked in the kitchen training/ cafeteria he had to close all the equipment down and the food would burn or get cold. He got caught though after the third time. and was charged $1000 and kicked out of school xD

Um in grade 4 we got evacuated because their was a bomb threat.
In grade 5 someone said their was a bomb in the school.
In grade 6 we got evacuated because of carbon monoxide. It think.
This year in grade 7, our health teacher caused the light bulb on the over head projector to burst, and we all got evacuated, and it was so cold out side.
Oh, and our chorus teacher she knocked over the over head projector, and the glass broke, and made a big mess.
My science teacher last year she was running to get her son from outside the school where his bus dropped him off, and her wedding ring got stuck on the little thing were the latch goes in on the doors, and she almost go it amputated. She saw her bone and everything gross.

Okay, last year(5th grade) we had a stranger drill thingy. Well, they were robbing a store and we had to leave our lunch's to freeze while they robbed a CLOSED Albertsons. I was like, "Oh my gosh, what the hell!?".
But in 4th grade, there was a maniac dog loose outside, so we had to run outside and lock ourselves in the trailers.
Then again in 4th grade, some guy escaped from the high school on a four wheeler and almost ran over me and my friend's while we were doing laps...
Then this year, we had a fire drill while we were changing into our gym clothes. Now, that was super funny 'cause some people had just tooken off their pants and they had to rush to put them back on.

Okay, we had something similar at my school happen Freshman year, but, at our school, they put this kind of ink on the alarms. The kid got caught, and he was punished BIG TIME. I got out of band, though, which made me happy. XD

Other people had to be kicked out of lunch, though, and I felt sorry for them.

When I was in elementary school, some kid was running around pulling fire alarms. At first we thought it was one of the special ed kids because he liked the colors - and he had done that several times in the past, the alarms near his classroom were disconnected as a result. But the thing was, he'd been out for a week with chicken pox, so if it wasn't him, who was it? O_o

We still don't know who it was.

In grade 6 while we were at recess a pit-bull came out of no-where and started chasing kids, so we all ran into the school
Grade 7 we were in the locker room getting changed from gym and the fire alarm came on and the gym teacher (girl) came in asnd said it was a drill..becasue people were falling over trying to get thier clothes on. So people were getting thier pants on and the teacher came back in and yelled 'its not a drill!!'..Well then, the closest sort of pants I had were shorts.. (couldent find my jeans..found out they fell under the bench) and we all had to go outside in our shorts..
it was -30oc and 3 feet snow...
we were all off for like a week with the flu.

in my sibling's school there was this
toxic gas that got in somehow and the
whole school had to be evacuated!
I wasn't there when it happened because
I didn't go to there school anymore!

On the fun day (we only get one once a term) our form was watching a pantomime performance starring the teachers. At half nine, the bell went. We just thought that the normal bell hadn't been de-activated, but it went on. We all panicked and started screaming, running for the doors. The teachers were trying to get us out in orderly lines, at no avail. We lined up outside in our colouful costumes and waited. We were then told that Mr C and Dr T (two Science teachers, who are good friends by the look of things) had been trying to conduct an experiment for something, and it got out of control, so a chemical fire broke it. It wasn't even that big and it didn't burn anything down (darn it!)

It had to be the only fun day of the term!

the other day we had to go under lockdown, there we're helicopters over head and everything, all because someone reported seeing someone with a weapon, so I was stuck in class for like...3 hours...>.>
then another time there was a cop that was shot near the school so we got put under lockdown for that and our science teacher put on the news for us and they told us the cop is in intensive care and that a jail break was just reported and like 5 criminals were on the loose.

it was so scary and bad part is we only have one cop on our school grounds and security is usually in RISE(something that has to do with in school suspension)

I had 2 things happening to me in the 4th grade. It was one time when we had a fire drill and they took it soo serious the the fire deparment came and the police came and me and my friends were like wtf?? And there one time when we had a Tornado (sp) drill and My prinable (sp?) went on the innercom and said "we are now under a tornado watch" and i was like wtf?? It was sunny outside and the princeable came to the girls bathroom and my teacher was in there and the princable was shaking to death like it was seriours and the other princable said we are now under a warning so we had to bend down and cover are heads.
