Frank is sitting on a bench nearby, forced outside because of his lack of concentration (and inspiration) inside. He pulls out his laptop, then realizes that the conversation he's hearing is quite an interesting one... he begins to take down notes on the stories he hears. What luck! Any one of these would make for a good vampire plot... providing that they were just stories of course. Vampires existed of course, but not the kind like Dracula- they were just ordinary humans with a hunger for blood or "psychic energy" instead of food. True vampires didn't exist.

"Tell me about it... of course, I eventually got tired of him and went my own way. Much better. I always looked young for my age back then, once I started wearing makeup and nice clothes I was at least able to look my age."

"Definitely. Helps with hunting of course; there are a lot of men around who will try to go after a girl walking down a dark alley at night."

"Correct. They think that there's a young girl for them to molest, then sadly for them the tables are turned." Kestrel laughed. "I don't feel at all bad about killing scum like that."

"I'd like to take my mothers sword and slice everyone of them into bits."

"I generally drink their blood while they're still alive... but paralysed, so they feel everything and can't escape."
