Liam stood, smiling as a teenage girl walked past him. She was dressed tartily, and obviously unwise to choose this alleyway to walk down. He walked silently behind her and felled her with a mind bolt. He took her in his arms and bit her throat. He drank as much as he needed, before laying her body down on the ground; she'd wake up in a few minutes, with no memory of what had happened to her. Licking his fangs and lips, he walked thru the alleyway. He stepped over but otherwise ignored the decapitated body of the boy... "Amateurs," thought Liam. He assumed it was one of the newly made vampires that had sprung up recently; he or she wouldn't last long with such carelessness.

Liam watched her go. He carefully probed her mind; he was expert at doing so that the subject wouldn't know he'd even been there. He looked at the other girl but recognized her as Gabrielle; no point trying that with her.
