Draven met Dulce on the platform. "We have to go to the Prefects carriage for a little while first," said Dulce. "Yet another chance for those smug Gryffindorks to try to needle us." She made a face. Draven replied, "I made a plan with Rosa to get even with them." Dulce smiled. "I got your owl saying about how you met them on the train. I still can't believe your parents just dumped you... actually I can, but it's still sick." "Well, I won't have to put up with them until the summer holidays," replied Draven. "I'd better go and put Ebony in the luggage carriage, see you later." Ebony looked serene in his cage; at least until he spat out a ball of mouse onto the floor of it.

Draven and Dulce walked into the Prefects carriage to discuss the plans for this term. The 2 Gryffindor prefects eyed them with contempt, but the Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw prefects were perfectly friendly. All thru the meeting, the Gryffindors kept making snide little comments and spiteful remarks; Draven struggled visibly to keep his temper but Dulce was able to ignore it and to look serene as she did so. After the meeting, they walked back down the train.
