"The pack would love that," Taka grinned.

"I know. We'll go to bed soon," Harley said, patting Shiki's head.

Phelan noticed Harley once again babying Shiki, and frowned. He didn't approve of it at all, and thought that Shiki should learn to stand on his own two feet for once and that Harley ought to know better than to encourage him.

[Shmiley]

Smiling tiredly, Shiki yawns again softly kneading his side.

Harley winced a litte, sighed, and let him do it.

He dind't have the heart to tell the kid 'no'.

Phelan decided to have a talk with Harley later on. It simply wasn't done to baby anyone within the wolf pack; even the young ones soon learned how to look after themselves at an early age. It was necessary for survival; after all, they wouldn't be with their parents forever and if anything happened to their family, they needed to be able to take care of themselves. As far as Phelan was concerned, Harley looking after Shiki was all well and good when they were separated, but now he could just leave the cat to his own devices.

Softly rumbling in his chest, the kneads lessen and lessen before young Shiki is fast to sleep against Harley's side.


Ivory softly "aww"ed and stood. "If you want Mr. Harley I could take the young lord to bed."

Harley smiled a little a nodded. "That would be best, I suppose."

[Shmiley]

Scooping up the young lord, Ivory carries him over to a bed made out for him and lies him down.

Mumbling in his sleep, Shiki curls up in a small ball with his arms wrapped around himself.

The next morning, Cecy was to train with Phel and groaned aloud as she got up.

Meanwhile, Harley went and woke Shiki.

Yawning and stretching out on the bed, Shiki's eyes slowly cracked open and he rubbed them. "Harley?"
