"Not in the slightest," Phelan explained.

"Once your muscles harden, you'll find it easy. In fact, with every day you train, it'll get easier and easier. But you've got to put the work in first."

Cecy nodded. "Can I have some water?"

[Miranda_]

"Sure," Phelan said, indicating the cave where the water supplies were kept. "Help yourself."

[spirit_queen]

She gulped it down greedily, trying to quench herself.

[Miranda_]

"Careful, you don't want to choke," Phelan said.

"We can do some more later, perhaps. Once the meat is ready, we can have something to eat, then you can rest a bit more before we start again."

[spirit_queen]

"Just not more soup; after being sick and having nothing but soup, I want something solid," Cecy replied.

[Shmiley]

"Maybe? Does Harley not have that much clothing?" He tilts his head to the side, large eyes blinking up at him.


"Anyways, where are some other places that we can pick herbs, it's actually quite relaxing." Ivory leaned against a nearby tree.

[Miranda_]

"Of course not soup. Your warriors were no doubt successful, so we can have meat. There's various parts of the carcass that have to be eaten straight away, after all, so we'll have those and smoke the rest. That would be best; we could salt some of it, but getting the salt will take a while cuz we'd have to get it from the sea."

The wolves prepared salt by getting buckets of salt water and boiling them on the fire til the water evaporated. What was left was a thin layer of salt. This was then repeated til there was enough to store. Obviously, such an activity would take some time on the island so smoking was the best preservation method.

"Shiki, it won't fit you," Harley sighed.

"Um, I dunno, let's go look!" Taka chirped, bouncing about.

"We could check and see how successful; they should all be done by now," Cecy said, finally standing unsteadily.

[Shmiley]

"Nu-uh Shiki will show you!" Running off, Shiki sniffs the air for any scent of Harley before finding a pile of Harley's shirts. Picking one up, Shiki throws the shirt over his head, from there he strips off his own outfit down to his tights and shoes. He carefully folds most of his clothes and sets them with his own items. Shiki runs back to Harley, "See! Shiki is ready!" He throws his arms in the air, the sleeves almost coming down to his wrists and the bottom of the shirt ending at his ankles. He basically looked like a scarecrow with a sheet hanging off of him.


"Alright... let's head... this way." He points in some direction.
