Cecy followed Phelan, and Tin kept up fairly well with Ari.

Phelan led his pack to chase the small deer herd, keeping them together in a frightened block to where Ari and the others were waiting. He howled, waiting til he heard an answering howl from Ari. Of course, Ari's howl didn't sound like a wolf howl in the slightest, but as Phelan had stated before, it was the pitch which mattered and in this case, Ari was confirming that she and the secondary pack were in position.

Tina found this version of hunting fascinating, but found more and more what she looked forward to was taking down prey.

Shiki was able to keep up with his team, his snow leopard form lost the majority of his fat from all the exercising he went through and now was sleek and faster than before. He was happy he could contribute in the hunt.

The small group of deer fled from the hunting pack. Just as they thought they had gotten to safety, the secondary pack led by Ari appeared to cut off their retreat. Dazed and confused, the deer hesitated. This cost them dearly. As the alpha apprentice, it was Phelan who attacked first, bringing down the stag at the head of the group. This was a clever tactic to destroy the leader first so that the does wouldn't know what to do. In any case, Ari had already pounced on a doe, the signal for everyone else to attack a target.

Tina viciously attacked one of the other does among the group. She took it down and clamped her jaws around its trachea, choking it to death.

[Miranda_]

The hunt had been organised well, and not a single deer would escape if everyone there did their job properly. Phelan had already dispatched his stag. Nearby, Felina was dragging a doe by the throat to the centre.

Cecy was proudly washing herself beside her kill; she hadn't taken a single bite out, as she knew this wasn't for immediate consumption.

As soon as all the deer were dead, Phelan seized his kill and with help from Ari, began to drag it back to base. Normally, he'd change to his human shape but he knew full well that the Cats wouldn't feel comfortable being without clothes outside. In any case, his wolf form was strong enough so that he could drag the stag back with help.

Both Tina and Cecy did that Cat thing where they dragged their prey between their legs, assuming an awkward-looking gait.
