Ari had been very pleased with the way that Victor had readily picked up everything she'd taught him. Even tho with good feeding and exercise, Victor still remained fairly thin, but it was now a strong, wiry thinness rather than the emaciation that he'd had before. Victor's face had filled out too, and no longer resembled a skull.

Tina had, of course noticed, and now that his bone structure had healthy cover, she could truly appreciate it. Tina was not ordinarily a vain, appearance-based sort of person, but that didn't mean she couldn't appreciate what was before her.

And Victor was a handsome man, for sure.

He was also a lot stronger, due to the exercises that Ari had set him to improve his archery, the cheetah feeling that this would be more successful than telling him to do them for strength.

"So, Can you show me some of your new archery skills?" Tina asked.

[Miranda_]

"I'll have to go and get my bow first," Victor replied, hesistating slightly.

[spirit_queen]

"Oh, we can do that- later..." she paused, then, suddenly, wrapped er shaking arms around him and pulled him tight. "Oh, gods, I'm so tired of being alone," she whispered.

[Miranda_]

This was what Victor had wanted the most; he'd longed for closeness with Tina, but had been afraid to say so out of fear for how she'd react. And he definitely knew that what she said mirrored his thoughts, too; Victor was also tired of being alone, and of being the only Bird to not be paired up. He put his arms around Tina, and just enjoyed sharing the closeness.

Her head came up only to his collarbone, and she fit perfectly in his arms; she was quite small. For once, rather than fight to deny her small stature, she just accepted it, and let herself be held. She, in turn, did her best to wrap her little arms around Victor.

Victor wasn't used to being the taller; his own height had been stunted thruout his teenage years by poor feeding and compared to the other Birds, he was below average height. He liked the feeling of being taller than Tina, it made him feel as tho he wanted to protect her.

She sighed and just buried herself into him.
