"You're right," Lupa agreed, surveying the area once again. "And they can make no mistake, we will stand our ground. Now and throughout this entire meeting. I will not be bullied into agreeing to things that don't benefit us substantially by nothing but manners. All the same, I suppose it's best we give the benefit of the doubt, at least for now."

Cecy gasped. "Already there?" she whispered back to Felina.

[Miranda_]

"I believe so," she replied back. "Look where I indicate, Princess."

The warrior discreetly pointed to where she'd seen the movement. This was where the wolves had put up their camp.

"Ugh, bet they claimed the best spot," Cecy snorted.

[Shmiley]

Row boats? Shiki shivered as he cowered from the side of the boat. He could hear the waves lap at the side of the boat, the water sloshing... his Snow Leopard ears flattened to his head, his tail wrapped around his thigh and he mewled. He wanted to bury his face into Sissy's shoulder, hiding his fear from the world, but that would mess up her dress and essentially her hair.

Fiddling with the sleeve of his elegant coat, Shiki peered off into the distance, making silent mewls of despair.

He could hear Sissy and Lupa speak of movement and the wolves already setting up camp. He snorted, they probably did take the best spot. Barbarians the lot of them. His petite nose wrinkled.

Soon enough, they made it to the island's shore, and Cecy sighed quite heavily in relief. "We made it, Shiki," she said to her closest companion. "Now, time to speak to some simpletons."

Felina helped Cecy and Shiki out of the boat, on to firm ground. "We shall tie the boats up strongly," she said, indicating to the others that they should do this.

"We may need an escape in case of treachery."

"Which way are the ruins, do you know?" Cecy asked as she took Shiki's hand in her own.

Letting out a sigh of relief, Shiki relax just a bit as the bow met with the shore. One problem down, the next big one to go: talking to the barbarians of society. The 'Wolves' were sure to be waiting for them, Shiki 'tsk'ed.

He thanked Felina for her help as he stepped on land. He was grateful for it. His legs stopped wobbling and his stomach stopped churning. Shiki looked around, his ears pr*cking up at any sound the Island made. It was eerie... and scary... he bit his lip.

He felt a little comfort when Sissy took his hand. Shiki gave her a grateful smile and lightly squeezed her hand.

Felina took out a map and studied it. "We go... this way," she said, pointing to a rough path.
