Tina was back in her sleek cougar form, and he was on ehr back, so she hadn't noticed much but a little twitch on her back, but she kept going.

Aleta was nodding a bit too, but Remy tucked his daughter under his wing to keep her steady where they were perched on Laika.

The sun was well into setting by the time they reached Frei, which was much larger than the fishing town they'd stayed at before. They'd stopped only once more that day, and it had been a much shorter break, but now they had arrived at last.

Amos the fox cub sat down, panting once they arrived. He had been just about able to keep up with the others.

Victor slid off Tina's back to land on the ground in a heap of feathers. He didn't want to change just yet, until he could be someplace private to get dressed again.

Nedakh changed and draped himself with a blanket, remembering how the cats and birds hadn't seemed to like it when he was nude. "I'll pay for you visitors to stay at an inn tonight. It's right over there," he said, pointing to a street to their right. "We'll get you all settled in now."

Victor didn't move from where he was; he was literally too tired to do so.

Remy didn't change; it would have been rather awkward, seeing as his daughter was asleep and tucked under one wing. He hopped to the ground so that Laika could change, tho. Laika wrapped a blanket around herself, not really liking having to, but understanding that the other species prefered modesty.

Tina transformed and also wrapped a blanket around herself, then literally just picked Victor up. Cecy elected to remain a lioness.

Felina also remained in her snow leopard form, staying close to her princess.

Victor panted heavily, trying to get enough air. He was too tired to even raise his head; he just lay in Tina's hands with his eyes closed.

Nedakh lead them all to the inn he'd told them about. "Everyone double up; for everyone to fit, you must share a room," he said.

Remy was fine with that; he'd share his room with Aleta and Amos. He wondered where his clothes were in the packs, and when he'd get them and his daughters' clothes back. Since Aleta was still asleep, he couldn't change back til he'd gotten inside the room and laid her on a bed. He'd have to wake her briefly so that she could change back, and it would easier to do that in private.
