"Perfect," Phelan replied. "Now we've just got to wait til Tina's ready."

"Uh-huh. I hope it's soon," Taka said.

[Miranda_]

"Same. If we hang around here too long, we might not get back before it gets dark."

At that moment, Tina wheeled her contraption in; it was made with an adjustable harness part; she didn't know Harley's exact size, so she's guessed some of it and accounted for the rest with the adjustable harness.

"Guess that'll work," Phelan said, after inspecting the wheeled contraption.

"Better get Harley to try it on now, so if it needs adjusting, then we can get it done before we get going."

Taka dashed upstairs; Harley had eaten in bed. she slowly and carefully lead him down the stairs, and he snorted when he saw the device. "I told you it was neat looking!" taka said.

[Miranda_]

"Just try it on," Phelan said to Harley. "If it works, it'll support your leg and you'll be able to move faster."

He did, and he experimentally walked around with it. It took him a few minutes to get used to keeping his legs still, but when he got used to it, her perked up; this would make long-distance travelling a lot easier.

[Miranda_]

"Dad ready, too?" Phelan asked Harley. "Cuz we really do need to get moving."
