Victor didn't care; he just chose the first one that was free cuz he was so tired that even climbing the stairs had taken it out of him.

Tina chose a different room; even though she'd befriended Victor, she didn't feel at all comfortable with the idea of sleeping next to or near to a man.

Victor felt a little slighted by this, but was too tired to really care. He fell asleep as soon as he got into bed.

Meanwhile, Taka had told Harley to shift forms. He did, with a lot of whimpers and yelps of pain. He was a very large and very fluffy russet colored wolf. "Shiki, would you soothe him while I reset his leg?" Taka asked

Shiki watched the transformation in awe, Harley was beautiful in his wolf form... He heard the other girls question and he nodded, scooching to be closer to Harley's head, gently lifting it and placing it in his lap. His fingers moved through his fur as he hummed gently.

Aleta put some chicken on the floor on a plate for her fox to eat. She was nodding with tiredness, but managed to eat her dinner.

Harley whimpered, whined, and yelped with pain as Taka quickly reset her cast of sorts. But Phelan had been right; the pain was easier to bear in that form.

Jacqualine smiled, beginning to eat her dinner.

Shiki frowned and continued to pet Harley's head, finally singing a sweet lullaby a maid once sang to him.

At long last, Takaia finished her work. She helped Harley limp upstairs to a room. "Are you staying with him tonight?" the young blonde asked.

Shiki followed after them, making sure to provide more help if it was needed. "Yeah, I'll be staying with him."

"Awww, that's so cute," Tala cooed. "Well, come find me at any time if Harley needs tending." She ten skipped off.

Harley, sitting on the straw-stuffed bed, thumped his tail enthusiastically and nodded his head at the spot next to him: 'come join me,' he seemed to be saying.
