Eyes shining with joy, Aleta turned to Taka. "It's my animal guide, just as I was told!" she said. The fox showed clearly that it wanted to stay with the nine year old girl, nuzzling into her hands.

[Shmiley]

Shiki blushed and nervously played with the sleeve of his shirt, "I think I love you."

Jacques stopped what he was doing and set the ax down before swooping Star in his arms, "Really? I'm going to be a father?" He was so excited, like really excited by this news.

"Oh, it's cute" Taka said, cooing over it.

Harley blushed. "I might, too, but we've only bee together for a few days."

Star squealed and giggled. "Uh-uh! I waited to be sure before I told you."

[Shmiley]

"I-I know, but I-I thought I should tell you." His ears pressed back against his head, tail curling around his leg.

"This is wonderful!" He spun her around before setting her on her feet and kissing her breathless.

Aleta set the fox down carefully; when she resumed walking with Taka, it trotted along at her heels.

Harley took Shiki's hand and kissed it. "I'm glad you did, Shiki."

Star giggled and wrapped her arms around Jacques.

"So, I got most of the herbs I need; we can set some fo them out in the sun to dry now," Taka said.

[Miranda_]

"Alright," Aleta replied. "What are we going to do tho, to make it so that we only come back to the camp when it's dark?"

"Whatever we want!" Taka declared. "We have aaaallll day!"

[Shmiley]

"Really?" His ears perked a little, tail unwrapping from his leg.

Jacques grinned, "We should celebrate!"

Aleta smiled, happily.

Back at the caves, Victor woke up. He went outside and saw that food was being put out for everyone. He took a plate for himself and sat alone to eat.

Remy had gotten up; at first he was worried when Aleta wasn't there, but relaxed after he was told that she'd gone out with Taka to gather herbs.
