Shiki got up and got dressed in the clothes put out for him. They were comfy and a little big, but he didn't mind. He grabbed something to eat then rushed off to see Harley.

Jacqualine also got up, grabbing the clothes set out and walked off to the washing pool. She really needed a bath.

Aleta kept close to Taka as they walked thru the forests.

In any case, this trip out to the woods was actually a very important event in Shamanism; it was generally when the new Shaman's animal guide would approach them. The animal guide would accompany the Shaman in spirit whenever they journeyed to the spirit world, and would notify them when the ghosts of the dead wished to communicate.

Taka began to tell Aleta about some of the herbs she sought and their various properties.

Astarte returned to the Otherworld; her day had only just begun, really. Contact had been established with Aleta, but now she had some big news to break to Jacques.

"Morning Shiki," Harley said.

Jacques was doing his usual thing which was cleaning his equipment and sharpening others.

Shiki beamed, "Morning, Harley. How's your leg?"

"Do you have lots of different herbs to give to cure different things?" Aleta asked.

"Or do some herbs cure two things?"

"Some herbs can cure or speed the recovery of several things, and some are only useful under certain circumstances," Taka explained.

"It's alright. It hurts, but I can stand it" Harley replied.

"Jacques!" Astarte called.

He smiles, "That's good. Hey... Harley?"


"Yes, dearie?" He says, sharpening one of his many axes.

Aleta smiled as she walked thru the forest with Taka. After a few minutes of walking, she stopped on the path as tho hearing a signal. Something told Aleta that this was of utmost importance to her new life as a Shaman, and she looked into the trees. A small black fox crept out of the undergrowth, and the raven girl held out her arms... the fox leapt into them and Aleta held it close.

Taka jumped back and stared as the wild critter leapt into the young girl's arms.

"Yes, Shiki?" Harley replied.

"I have some- some big news," Astarte said shyly. After an awkward moment of silence, she manage dot whisper, "I- I'm pregnant, Jacques."
