"We will be leaving as soon as is possible," Laika replied. "Phelan's just waiting til Harley's fit to travel."

"I doubt they'd care," Victor replied, wearily. "They're too wrapped up in their lives now to care about me."

As Victor had left the clearing, he'd caught a glimpse of Remy standing next to a small wolf girl; he was sure that meant that now he was the only one of the four left alone.

Kioren quirked a brow and shrugged, at least he tried to tell the magpie. Maybe his brother or someone could talk some sense into him.

"Actually, it's getting kind of late, might as well get some rest," Lucy said.

"Oh! I never showed Victor to his spot!" Taka ran out to find Victor.

[Miranda_]

"We can have this stew tomorrow," Laika said. "Hopefully Harley would be better by then. We should also inspect the boat to see how big it is; we may have to build a raft to tow along behind it."

Victor said nothing more. He stayed where he was; he didn't trust his sense of direction to lead him in the right way.

"It smells good," Lucy said before heading off to find the alcove assigned to him.

Taka soon found him. "Hiya! Want me to show you where you can sleep?"

[Miranda_]

"If you want," Victor replied, listlessly. "I don't think I could find it by myself."

"You got a nice one; it's sandy on the bottom, so it'll be soft," Taka told him as she lead him inside.

[Miranda_]

"I don't mind," Victor said as he followed Taka to the cave she said was his.

Taka stopped to grab a pillow and some rough blankets. When they arrived to the alcove in question -which was a little small but did have the sandy bottom- she put the heavier blanket on the sand to act as a sort of 'mattress', and then put the pillow down. "Tada! It's not much, but you're only here probably another day or s before we leave."

"I don't mind," Victor said, again. "I'm used to sleeping on the floor anyway."

Back in Ave, Victor normally had gone to the Temple to sleep; it wasn't really safe to sleep on the streets due to the number of gangs, and he felt safer at the Temple. Like the other homeless that the Temple opened its doors to, Victor had slept on the floor in one of the larger rooms.
