Shiki stopped the scratching, "Give me a true kiss and I'll continue scratching."

Kioren moaned, "Wonderful."

Aza only smiled, "You know he would have started complaining to his lover about the lack of children."

He huffed, "If he does have more kids, I hope they are not annoying."

"Awwww," Harley pouted. He then kissed Shiki truly this time.

"Likes kids that much, does he? And don't forget he would have had a hand in raising Phelan and Takai," Lucy observed. "Any current kids would be young, I think."

[Shmiley]

He grinned and went back to scratching, "Thank you."

Kioren's eyebrow raised and sighed, "That is true."

"Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeee," Harley said, kicking his leg again.

"Guess you'll find out soon enough, eh?" Lucy told him with a smirk.

[Shmiley]

Shiki grinned and laughed, his other hand stroking beneath his chin. Harley was so much like a puppy.

"Yep, I wonder what he looks like now..." Aza said.

"Probably the same: wide grin, wild curly hair and super tall." Kioren replied.

But suddenly Harley's pain scrunched up and he moaned in pain; the painkillers had finally worn off.

"Sounds like a manic Aza," muttered Lucy. "But... tall."

[Shmiley]

Shiki stopped and frowned, petting his face.

Ivory came in a moment later, checking him over, "The painkillers worn off I see? I could give you medicine or do you want to deal with this and see if the pain is bearable?"

"That maniac is my father, Lucy." He said, running his finger's through Kioren's hair.

Kioren, unknowingly, started to purr.

"I'll try to deal for a bit," Harley said with a grimace.

"I didn't say 'maniac', I said 'manic', which means 'showing wild and apparently deranged excitement and energy', whereas 'maniac' means 'someone showing symptoms of dangerous and wild behavior'," Lucy corrected him gently. He refrained from commenting on the purring, as Aza did it as well.

Ivory nodded, "I'll be outside if you need me." He disappeared outside.

Shiki frowned and stroked his cheek, "How bad does it hurt?"

"Ah, well, you learn something new everyday." His fingers scratched behind Kioren's ear, hearing his brother purr louder and lean into his touch.

"Pretty bad, but I can deal," Harley said, gritting his teeth.

Finally, Lucy could refrain from comment no more. "Do all cats purr like that?"
