Ty drank it quickly enough. He was hoping that Gabrielle really was as good as she said she was; he simply had to get back to his apartment that night. Cuz if he wasn't there, then Janeseh might decide to go after Mac instead...

[Sarah_K_O_M]

"You look like you needed that." Gabrielle said, "You're paler than most vampires."

[Miranda_]

"I have a lot on my mind at the moment," Ty replied. "I have to get back to the apartment."

[Sarah_K_O_M]

"I'm guessing rent? Any time limit, or is 'tonight' good enough? Like I said though, I am walking you there. Hell, I'll walk you in the door if I have to. Last thing I want is for an innocent person to die, and last thing I need is your brother hunting me down because I let his little brother die."

[Miranda_]

"Has to be tonight," Ty muttered. "And I don't need you walking me all the way there. I think I'll be fine walking from the end of the street."

Ty was horrorstruck at Gabrielle walking him back and perhaps seeing Janeseh there. If she fought him, it would only make things worse in the long run... and it would be Mac who would suffer in the end.

[Sarah_K_O_M]

"You got hit coming out of a bar, what's to stop it happening again?" Gabrielle said. She raised an eyebrow. "Are you smuggling something and you're afraid I'll see it?"

[Miranda_]

"No, nothing like that," Ty said. "But I still don't need you to escort me to my front door. I'll be fine."

[Sarah_K_O_M]

"Well, if you're sure." she said uncertainly. "We'll see when we get out, alright?"

She sounded genuinely worried about it.

[Miranda_]

"I am sure," Ty replied, sounding just as worried. He didn't want to think about what would happen if he was late back.

Gabrielle didn't reply. Instead, she moved ahead, to the turn in the corridor. She peered around the corner carefully then held up three fingers to Ty.
