No Light, No Light (Private)

[Miranda_]

"I guess so. Want to come in?" Ty opened the door wider.

[Sarah_K_O_M]

Gabrielle nodded and stepped inside.

"Anywhere I can leave my coat?"

[Miranda_]

"You can hang it over a chair in the living room, if you want," Ty said, leading the way to the living room. There was a couple of armchairs and a couch.

[Sarah_K_O_M]

Gabrielle followed him, pulling off her coat as she did. She pulled the combs out of her hair and put them in her coat pocket, letting her hair fall around her shoulders, then tossed the coat over the back of a chair.

[Miranda_]

Ty sat down on the couch. "So, was there anything you wanted to talk about?" he asked.

[Sarah_K_O_M]

Gabrielle just leant on the back the back of the armchair she had put her coat on, and shrugged.

"Not particularly. I just wanted to check up on you, and your brother wanted me to as well."

[Miranda_]

"Nothing much to tell," Ty replied. "Nothing's changed; you might have gotten me a respite, but it's still going to go on and nothing can stop it."

[Sarah_K_O_M]

"Yes, there is. We just haven't found it yet, that's all. But we will. There's three people who know now, surely we can think of something between the three of us. Because I, for one, will not let this fcking continue."

[Miranda_]

"What can you do?" Ty said, helplessly. "There's no point in telling anyone. No-one would believe someone like me; they'd believe Janeseh cuz he's a hero. They'd just think I was making it up."

[Sarah_K_O_M]

"What if we could convince someone that people would believe?" Gabrielle said thoughtfully, "Just one person. Not everyone likes him, you know. Even within the Watches."

She trailed off, thinking.
