"Too long. A couple of decades. I'm getting so tired of it, but there's just no way out for me."

[Sarah_K_O_M]

"Well, unless he's either exposed or murdered, I guess." Gabrielle said,then looked down at her feet. "But I don't see either happening for a long time."

[Miranda_]

"It'll be difficult to find someone to kill him," Ty replied. "There's only one person who could do that, but I wouldn't have a clue where to find him, and he wouldn't help us anyway. Father almost killed him; he made a pact with a demon in order to live, and ended up like us.

"As for exposure, that'll be difficult, too considering as he has other victims besides me and hasn't ever been punished for them. Ever wonder why Janeseh never goes to the wereleopard section without an escort?"

[Sarah_K_O_M]

"I didn't know that he does, to be honest." Gabrielle said, shrugging. "I don't have much to do with Janeseh. I'm Nightwatch, under Constantine's jurisdiction, and I'm not likely to ever shift to Grey."

[Miranda_]

"Anyway, one of his victims lives there; she was raped by him nearly fifteen years ago and had his son. Her family's very protective. I went there a while ago, after Janeseh let something slip, and talked to them. They were suspicious at first, but eventually they told me a lot of stuff.

"I didn't say anything about what happened to me," Ty said, "Nor did I say I could get anything done. But sometimes, it's enough just to have someone believe you."

[Sarah_K_O_M]

"Yeah, I know." Gabrielle said quietly. She shook herself then stood up.

"Right, I should go. I have work again tomorrow, and I have two reports to write up tonight. Do you have a pen and paper?"

[Miranda_]

"In the drawer over there," Ty said, indicating a desk in the corner. "Do you want a drink or something?"

[Sarah_K_O_M]

Gabrielle took the pen and paper put and starting scribbling on them.

"No, thanks for the offer, but I really need to get home. If for nothing else than a shower."

She looked down at herself then laughed. "I don't usually look this bad, I swear."

[Miranda_]

"Well, after all that's happened, it's not surprising," Ty said. "I need to shower, too."

[Sarah_K_O_M]

Gabrielle passed him the piece of paper.

"That's my phone. If you need me, just call, alright? See you around."

She waved to Ty and left.
