Ty shivered all over at Janeseh's touch. He tried his hardest to push him away.

"You must be sick if you believe that. I hate it, and I hate you."

"Then why do you tremble at my touch?" Janeseh said triumphantly. He pulled Ty back and slipped his fingers under the hem of his t-shirt.

"Now, are we going inside or not?" he whispered, ready to pick Ty up if he had to. He began to say something else, but was cut off.

"Excuse me, if I may interrupt? Are you Janeseh San Diego?"

Gabrielle stood nearby. She had broken and pulled away as much as the dried blood as she could in order to appear more professional, but there were still smears on her face and clumps in her hair. She was staring directly at Janeseh, as if Ty didn't even exist.

"Are you Janeseh San Diego?" she repeated.

Ty ripped himself away from Janeseh. He felt as tho his touch had burned and pressed himself back against the wall, trying to disappear. He had not noticed that he was being followed by Gabrielle, and now his main feeling was dispair. Janeseh always acted the same way; as tho he was an attentive lover instead of a vile rapist, and Ty was sure that Gabrielle had been fooled. After all, she was talking to Janeseh in a completely normal manner.

Janeseh looked Gabrielle up and down, a little bit of leer in his look. "I may be. Who's asking?"

Gabrielle gave him a smart salute. "Specialist Viaris of the Nightwatch. Overseer Constantine asked me to pass on a message. He's received new intel, as regards demonic activity in the area and needs to discuss security with you."

Janeseh sighed. "Fine. I'm on my way."

He turned back to Ty and blew him a kiss.

"I'll see you next week, sweetheart." he said, sounding every bit the sincere lover, "I'd come back sooner, but you know what my cousin is like. Try not to get too lonely without me."

He waved and with that, walked away. Gabrielle stared after him until he was reasonably far away then turned to Ty.

"I need your phone." she hissed. "Now."

Numbly, Ty handed Gabrielle his phone. The sooner he did, then the sooner she could leave and he could go inside his apartment and shower off the feeling of Janeseh's touch.

Gabrielle fumbled with the phone, then finally got it to call.

"Sir? It's Gabrielle. The speculation is accurate, they've found a way, but it doesn't seem complete. They kidnapped myself and another individual, we're both safe. A warehouse in outer Washington, near Moscow. I don't know the exact address, but I can take you there. At least eight, sir. Also, Janeseh is on his way to you. Uh, can you please act as if you told me to tell him to go to you? It's important. Yes, sir.I know sir. Thank you, sir."

Gabrielle hung up and passed the phone back to Ty.

"Are you alright?" she asked, looking genuinely concerned. "I'm sorry I didn't get here sooner."

"It doesn't matter," Ty replied, brokenly and convinced that Gabrielle had been deceived by Janeseh.

"I'll go inside now, if that's all."

Gabrielle stared at him.

"What's his hold over you?" she asked finally. "What is he dangling over your head to make you go along with that?"

"What would be the point in telling you?" Ty replied, staring down at the pavement.

"What could you do about it? Nothing, and that's what everything I've done so far would be for if Janeseh found out."

[Sarah_K_O_M]

"You'd have someone else who knows what's really going on. No one believes you right? They think he's some great guy, and if he does talk to you in front of people, they fall over themselves to praise him for being so caring and friendly, right? Wouldn't it good to have someone else who knows it's a crock of sht?"
