The Wilderness Wars {Remake RP}

Navin pointed vaguely south-west.

"Do you- ahughck uhgh - notice the buildings are smaller in that direction?" He said. "Perhaps we should go that way."

Ash giggled. "Yeah; bat your big eyes at them, slide a hand up their thigh, and you got 'em all melted and stupid for you."

Lorelei looked in the direction Navin pointed. "They're still ugly," she grumbled to herself, but pulled her skirts up an inch or two anyways so that she could safely walk without tripping. "Oh well, if we're going to go then let's go," she ordered bossily.

"Worth a shot," Ash shrugged.

[Miranda_]

"Maybe we'll find the real human world," Kaori said. She brushed down her long white skirt carefully and fell into step besides Ash as the group walked in the direction of the smaller houses.

People in business atire brushed by the group often, barely sparing them a glance. Ash was fascinated; she'd never seen human beings be quite this oblivious...

And then she saw some people dressed even more oddly in this place than they -those from the realm of the Fantastic- were. How had they managed such bright colors? She didn't know the human term for such colors -neon- but she loved it. So obnoxious. And, with that, she could guess why the others didn't stare; they were outsiders, thought eccentric oddballs, but harmless enough.

Huh.

Lorelei kept her chin up, attempting to avoid any scraps of rubbish left on the ground while maintaining some form of elegance. The humans, she noticed, were a strange bunch, a great number if them standing out even more than she and her companions did.

"Well this certainly isn't what I was expecting," she said, not giving a secind thought as to whether the people around them heard her.

Navin skidded to a halt and pointed ahead. A group of teenagers huddled in front of a game store. They were dressed in shiny, spiked and otherwise ornamented armour and waving fearsome, huge swords that reflected no light in the air with no perceptable difficulty.

"Hazad muagya-mora! Slayers!" He hissed, alarmed.

The crowd were actually cosplayers holding foam swords and wearing fake armour, but the hapless dragon didn't know this and had mistaken them for knights.

"But Navin, they're scrawny, and that one to the right is all tubby," Ash said with a giggle. "The couldn't hurt you!"

"Besides, judging by the way they're waving around those swords I highly doubt they're actually capable of using them for anything else," Lorelei added, raising an eyebrow as she surveyed the group of cosplayers, unimpressed.
