"Don't know why they brought this picture out in the first place," Minty said with a sniff. "It's been in the town hall for years. And you're right; candy is so much better. Want to come and sample some of mine on my stall?"

"Would I ever!" Sandy grinned.

Minty took Sandy to her stall, which was being minded for her by another pony.

"Ooh, dark chocolate and mint!" Sandy said.

[Miranda_]

The other pony left, and Minty smilingly invited Sandy to sample what she liked.

Sandy used her horn to sample some chocolates. "Minty, these are simply divine!"

[Miranda_]

Minty blushed a little. "You really think so? I thought I'd try something new, give out some free samples and maybe more ponies might try my shop."

"They're positively fabulous!" Sandy said.

[belladoggy]

Scuttler roamed the festival grounds, frantically searching for his still-new friends. He wanted to enjoy the festival, but had been up all not with nightmares about evil zombie ponies. He was a very tired colt. "Clover? Stargazer? Neptune? Pluto? Where are you guys?" he gasped, out of breath from trotting all over the place. Not sleeping and being out of shape were doing a number on his respiratory system.

Melody was getting up on stage, with a flutter of her wings. She smiled happily as she saw the crowd of ponies in front of the stage, knowing that her outfit looked spectacular and her hoof polish exactly matched her cutie mark. Melody took a breath and began her first song.

Clover was in the crowd listening to Melody's singing. She was eating a pink and blue icecream cone held in one hoof.
