"Maybe, maybe not. What if us getting our cutie marks shows the townsponies that Ruby isn't a witch? Couldn't that help Mitta break the curse? Where is she, anyway?" Scuttler's mind was dancing with unanswered question.

"Bad idea. If we got our cutie marks here, the townsponies would kill us as well as Ruby," Clover said, shaking her head. "And unlike her, we probably wouldn't come back the next day. Anyway, we probably won't get them here; maybe the town's loop prevents that sort of thing."

Mitta was with Ruby outside; she always tried to make the most of each day with her daughter, even tho her daughter had no memory beyond that day.

"I'm not finding out the hard way," Stargazer said.

"Neither", Neptune shuddered.

"Then I guess we better hurry up and eat," said Scuttler. "If we really want to avoid all that."

Stargazer nodded, but she was too scared to go first.

Neptune puffed out his chest, "I'll go out first if no one else wants to".

Clover stepped forward; she wasn't about to let Pluto take all the glory away from her. Wasn't it her, after all, that had suggested the idea of exploring the Everfree Forest in the first place? So it was right that she should be the first to go outside.

Clover pushed the door open and walked boldly over to the nearest table, which was covered with food of various sorts. The green pony Threeleaf was there, and she smiled brightly at Clover. "I'm Threeleaf," she said. "I never knew there were ponies living outside of Sunny Town! Do help yourself; we're going to have a party later, but there's plenty of food to spare."

Stargazer timidly followed after Clover and grabbed a spinach roll; her favorite. Though, after this, she thought she might start avoiding those...
