"I suppose," Guinevere frowned. "What about your brother, is he already a Knight?"

"Yes, he's already been knighted," Arthur said. "He's probably dreading me joining him, actually..."

"I bet he's just worried about you," Guinevere replied.

People were starting to leave the hall, the atmosphere had changed immensely after the King's small speech and now all the light-heartedness had left the room. The dancing as come to a halt and the food, was beginning to get cleared away.

"I think my father is; look at his face, he's all white," Arthur said, indicating Ector. Ector was currently heading toward the king.

"You Majesty," Ector said, bowing before the king. "Might I have a word?"

"He must be worried to bits," Guinevere said quietly.

Uther gazed down at Ector's before giving a slight nod of his head, "Of course, however I think it would be most appropriate if we moved the conversation somewhere a little less public."

"He must be... he's requesting to speak with the king. I mean, he does speak with the king sometimes, but he's not good friends with him, like your father is," Arthur said.

"Of course, my liege... where do you suggest we go?" Ector said.

"Good luck to him, the King's a stubborn man," Guinevere said. "And speaking of my father he's looking rather baffled himself, though I expect that's because I'm actually speaking to someone out of choice."

Uther frowned before gesturing to door on the side of the hall. "My private dining hall is through that door. It will be a sufficient enough place to speak, for now."

Arthur laughed. "Of all the thing in the world to baffle your father... right?"

"After you, Your Majesty," Ector said.

"Of course," Uther replied as he lead the way toward the door.
