"They just sound Aussie," laughed Rose. "I hate my accent when I speak English; sounds thick and slow, like molasses, or something," she wrinkled her nose in distaste.

Amella wandered through as they were saying this, holding some paper. She was arranging low-key transport to the asylum for them, but stopped just to jokingly inform Rose, in the most ridiculously over-the-top cockney accent she could manage, that she could speak Englishese just fine, thank you very much.

Star laughed. "That sounds a lot better than Liam's fake accent," she said. "Anyway, maybe one day he'll see sense."

Meanwhile Axel had managed to snag the permits for a full investigation into the institution the boy had been taken from. He had explained that he thought it was in the governments best interest to investigate the disappearance and also the quality of the premises. He determined to ring Star back after his meeting to organize travel details. If there was one area Axel excelled in, it was organization.

Axel's meeting was an canceled and he took the opportunity to search for flights before calling Star. They had a choice between flying out later that day, if everyone was organized, or at some obscene hour in the morning.
