Damien had changed his opinion of Rose somewhat too. He tended as a rule to be defensive about meeting new people, as he expected them to attack him.

"So.... do you wanna hang out again, sometime?" Rose asked him.

[Miranda_]

"Yeah, if you want," Damien replied. "I doubt this pet project of Granma's will take up much of my time."

[spirit_queen]

"Dunno how much of mine it'll take; I'm officially her intern," Rose said.

"I doubt we'll be doing much of it; they tend to leave that for the adults to do."

Axel drove back to his office, he had a lot to think over and he was used to late nights.

A thin girl stood outside the building in which the English Prime Ministers office was located, feet sinking a little into the thin layer of snow that covered the ground. She walked slowly down the pavement, her feet now crunching down on the concrete which was barely visible in some places. She stopped again a few meters later, kicking a rock ahead of her, it skidded on the frozen fluids until it came to a stop.

She had been picked for this job for the reason that she wouldn't stand out on the streets here, unlike that vampire. It was true, blond hair and pale skin allowed her to fit in with crowds particularly easily and she spoke fluent English which was useful for studying newspaper articles and information on security.

She would wait until tonight, by tomorrow morning the Prime Minister would be dead.

Inside the building, a girl patrolled the corridors. The girl had wavy coppery hair, and silver eyes. She was in fact a vampire, and her name was Jill. She was, in official terms, the Prime Minister's official bodyguard. In unofficial terms, she had been planted in the building by her ex lover, Liam. Jill thought vaguely about how nice it had been to speak with him again, altho he still wasn't much of a conversationalist.

Karin was expecting a bodyguard or two, it didn't cross her mind that another supernatural creature might stand in her way, nor did it matter, as far as she was concerned she was taking out the Prome Minister no matter what.

Rather than returning to her hotel room which was booked under a different name she waited on a park bench, where she could observe at the same time. It would her ears, nose and eyes something interesting to do for a while.

Jill too settled down to wait it out. She took out a book and started to read, keeping her senses alert.

Amella returned to a small flat which had been set aside for her as a place to stay by the CIA. Once there, she flipped open a laptop loaded with powerful hacking software and set up shop meticulously. She could always keep an eye on what was going on in the vicinity of the Prime Minister's Office.

Once she'd wormed her way into the video camera system in that area, she swapped from camera to camera, inside and outside the building. Ah-hah, there was a girl inside the building. Perhaps that was Jill? Impossible to tell, as Liam had given no physical description. She searched several CIA files related to individuals called Jill, but she couldn't open many of them, and those she could were useless.

She kept the camera which was pointed at Jill open in a tab just to be sure, as she didn't know if it actually was Jill or not. Amella failed to see the girl outside the building; she was sitting in a blind spot, where no cameras were filming her.
