Though Rose had been warned, she was still caught off-guard, for not only was he short, he was [i]cute[i]; he looked like he belonged in a Precious Moments set, with those vivid green eyes and cute little face. Rose found herself fighting the urge to say 'aww', pat him on the head and hug him.

Amella stared as Rose approached Liam, and was dumbfounded. She had already constructed a list of people in the bar in her head, and how likely they were to be their man, and the actual Liam was at the very end of that list. Tapping Axel's arm to alert him to Star, Rose and Damien's arrival, she set off in pursuit.

Axel wasn't far behind, like Amella he'd built up a list of appearances in his head despite knowing they'd probably be incorrect, however this progression shocked him. Somehow he'd been imagining a strongly built, more dangerous looking teen.

Liam hadn't been waiting for long; he nodded to Star and indicated that everyone should go into the private room. He had no intention of speaking til everyone was safely behind the closed door.

Axel entered, understanding the gesture that Liam had sent in Star's direction.

Liam waited til everyone was inside the room and door closed. He then said, "I can tell you the name of one of the assassins; I don't know if anyone here knows much about him, but I can always tell you if you don't. His name is Arkady Orlav."

"That's a nice name; sounds... sorta Eastern-Europey," Rose said, temporarily forgetting that she'd decided to let Star do the talking. XD

"Name doesn't ring a bell, I'm afraid," Axel said.

To Amella, however, the name rang a bell. She'd seen it once in a CIA file.

"The name sounds vaguely familiar; who is he?"

[Miranda_]

"He's a Russian," Liam replied. "Arkady was once one of Stalin's agents; however, once Stalin died, he was forced to flee from Russia. I heard a little about him from Sapphire and I found out a bit more on my own account that made me sure that he was the assassin who killed the Russian leader."
