Lance chuckled and said, "It would've been classic... but, in a way, I guess it's good they didn't bother; they always end up complicating things. Guess they finally realized they're outclassed..." He then kissed her more passionately.

This was too much for Kitty, she burts out from behind the doorway she'd been hiding behind and kicked lance as hard as she could where she knew it would hurt o.o
This was follwoed by a punch directed towards his stomach.

Rogue cursed under her breath as Kitty sprang out of hiding. Her concern was well founded as an alarm sounded soon after.
Jean too looked annoyed. Unusual for her, but this mission had been carefully planned, right down to the last detail... and now, for no reason whatsoever, Kitty had ruined it. They would have to get out of here as quickly as possible, without even recovering the data. Louise had been surprised when Kitty had appeared, too surprised to stop her from kicking Lance. She recovered herself in time however to prevent the punch; Louise hit out with her own hand in Kitty's direction.

Kitty managed to block Louise's hit, by a few millimeters.
Scott and the other group of mutants heard the alarms sound. He instructed his group to head back outside as quickly as they could while he went to check on the others.

Louise retaliated by shooting a shower of bone slivers at Kitty's face, while she grabbed hold of Lance and ran, dragging him, down the corridor. To slow the X-men, as soon as she got behind the connecting door, she locked it.
Jean said in a furious whisper to Kitty, "Come on; we have to get out of here before that alarm you set off brings the security guards down on our heads."

Lance recovered bit by bit as he was tugged by Louise, and was glad she'd gotten Kitty back for him.
Vaughn was nervous after being shooed out of the building, and fervently hoped everyone would come out unharmed.

Kitty had managed to phase through Louise's bones but the whole thing was upsetting her. Added onto that was the fact that Jean obviously wasn't happy with her, and she doubted Scott would be when he found out just how the alarms had been set off.
Scott himself arrived at the door Louise had locked and sent a ray of red energy down at the lock. After several shoves he managed to break down the door.

Jean ran thru the door, followed by Rogue who looked thunderous. Jean hissed to Scott, "It's all gone wrong. Kitty wrecked things by setting off the alarms, and the Brotherhood have got the disc. We've got to get out of here!"
The security guards were at this moment checking the cameras and only finding static; Louise had disabled the cameras previously by means of a bone sliver in each connecting cable. The guards knew what this meant; cameras out of action could mean a fault but coupled with an active alarm meant a break in. They rushed to the office block as fast as they could.
