They set off towards the Mayor's office in the jeep. Jean didn't have to impress on everyone just how important it was that they stop the Brotherhood from getting that disc. With that information, Mystique could cause a lot of damage. She could reroute police cars, simply from knowing the frequency their radios operated on, for example.
Louise was also heading towards the office with Lance. It was a work of a moment, once they were there, for Louise to create a key out of a finger bone and get herself and Lance inside. Once there, she took a drag off a cigarette and blew the smoke ahead; therefore showing up the trip alarms and making it easy for both of them to step over them and in some cases, under.

Lance had stolen those very cigarettes earlier that day, of course. As he promised, when Louise was concentrated on getting them through something, Lance carefully watched and listened for any sign of enemies.

Scott scowled, "looks like they're here. We'll spring them when they're coming out. For now we split up. Kitty, Jean, Rogue, can you three head afer them. The rest of us will make sure the other exits are sealed."

Jean nodded. To Kitty and Rogue, she said, "Remember; silence. There's alarms here and probably security guards as well; we don't want to set anything off." She set off towards the Mayor's office, trusting the others to follow.
Inside the office, Louise found the disc with a muted sound of triumph. She handed it to Lance. "You can have this; your clothes have pockets," she said.
