"Whatever you like; just try not to colour clash at least," Louise replied, grinning.

"Okay, cool," Lance said, grinning. "Got any gum?"

Louise handed him a pack. "Lots; picked it up in the corner shop."

Lance took a piece, unwrapped it, and popped it in. "Thanks."

Louise lowered her voice. "Before the dance, we might want to get something to pep up the punch."

"I'm already planning that; I already know what flavor punch, and am gonna get something that'll blend nicely so no one will notice," Lance whispered back.

"Vodka would work. Anyway, I'll have to go with Rogue now to meet up with the others; see you tomorrow, right?"

"Of course," Lance said. He gave Louise a quick peck on the lips.

Rogue was waiting outside the shop for Louise. She was relieved to see Lance walk off in another direction from Louise when she left the shop, and said, "Come on, let's go find the others."
