"Naw. I just want something simple, you know? But everything is either poofy, or neon, or the black ones look more to Rogue's taste..." Rahne sighed.

"Naw, they're probably expensive. Let's just check out another shop if you're sure about the blue dress," Rahne said.

"I can text Jean now and ask for a few names of shops, she always seems to be buying dresses that are simple but look great," Kitty replied, although she partly suspected Jean would look good wearing nearly anything.

"Yup," Kitty nodded, "Do you have any other shops in mind? she asked as the lady behind the counter placed the dress in a bag.

Jean planned to wear a dress that she'd bought a few days ago, near the end of the holidays, for the dance. She was pleased that she finally had someplace nice to wear it; it was a classic style, a bit too much for just hanging out.

Rahne was about to reply when something caught her eyye on one of the racks. Quickly, she made her way over and found a pewter-colored dress, a short-ish one. It was simple and had clean lines, it wasn't too bight... it was perfect! And her size, too!

Rogue took her dress to the counter to pay for it. She wondered idly how Gambit would like her in it.

After Lance got all the things Louise had indicated, he pretended to wander and browse as if bored, but he was in actuality sneaking off the tags and such that would set the alarm systems off. Once Louise bought her dress, they'd go.

Louise handed over the money for her dress, then walked casually out the shop with Rogue.
