"Agreed," Kitty giggled, "new clothes are always good."

"I know the dance is informal, but you just know that all the girls are going to want to dress up," said Louise.

[Cheshire1996]

"Yeah, I'm not going to go overboard or anything though, if you do, you run the risk of looking stupid," Kitty replied.

[Miranda_]

Rogue just shrugged. "I'll just go to my usual store and get a dress from there. That would be best."

Kitty's eyes widened, "I should ask Vaugh if he wants to come as well, I bet he hasn't been to the mall yet and I promised I would introduce him to a few of my friends." Not that Louise was really her friend, at least not like Rahne and Rogue were.

After saying a quick 'see you later' she wandered off to see if she could find him before lunch ended.

Louise asked Rogue about the shop she'd mentioned; after Rogue replied, Louise thought to herself that she'd like to check that shop out. It sounded as tho she could find herself an unusual dress there, that was unlike anything the others would get. Of course, she'd make sure that her dress was different to Rogue's.

Kitty didn't manage to find Vaugh and instead decided to make sure she had all her books for the next class.

*Later*

Kitty waited for Rahne, Rogue and Louise outside. She hadn't had the chance to ask Vaughn but it didn't dampen her spirit, if there was one thing that cheered her up it was shopping...or as strange as it might sound, exams.

Louise was last to show; when she did, she was with Lance.

Lance didn't think at al about the effect this would have on Kitty; he was a typical male.

Kitty stiffened and avoided making eye contact, inside she was caught between urge to punch him then and there and the urge to burst into tears. She managed to do neither and intead gave a tight smile and decided she would instead stick with Rogue while shopping.
