The class soon began. School went on in its usual way, despite the students feeling a little slow after the summer break. This was interrupted halfway thru the second lesson by the first tremors felt from underground...

"Everyone outside!" the teacher said, loudly. She began to herd the students out of the classroom to the fire exit which was just outside. If the building was collapsing, it was better for all to be outside.
