Louise sent a few projectiles flying in the direction of the few protestors who remained. "Beat it," she said with a sneer.

Rogue managed to take out Toad by picking him up and dropping him so he was knocked unconscious. She helped Jean up, who used her mental powers to slam Blob against a tree. Laura got to her feet.

"They must be here with Mystique or Magneto," she said. "Maybe even both. I bet they're behind the assassination."

Rahne charged over to Louise, snarling.

The remaining protestors ran.

Louise stood her ground, firing slivers of bone at Rahne.

Rahne dodged most and yelped but kept running when one buried itself in her hind leg painfully. She kept charging, knowing her time was now limited before that leg just gave out on her.

[Miranda_]

Louise cursed at Rahne's stubborn refusal to give up. She knew that she and the rest of the Brotherhood would soon have to withdraw and regroup; they were fast being brought down by the X-men. She hoped that they would be able to attack the X-men at a later date; they must be kept away from the target at all costs as she was sure they'd do their best to wreck the plans for the assassination.

Rahne leapt at Louise to tackle her.

Louise put out her clenched fists in retaliation, claw like spikes protruding from her knuckles, hoping to impale her enemy on them.

Rahne scratched herself but had maged to leap out of the way.

[Miranda_]

Louise was about to retaliate, when her communicator, which was in her ear in the form of a Bluetooth, spoke with a message from Mystique to withdraw. The other Brotherhood members would receive a similar message, those who were conscious. Louise ran to Lance, signalling to Blob to bring Toad so they could get out of there.

Lance nodded once and took off with Louise.
