Louise walked with Lance to where the Blackbird had landed. She knew that she and Lance could not be seen from the jet; they were safe to ready themselves for the fight. The rest of the Brotherhood waited just outside the landing spot, waiting for the signal to attack.

The doors of the Blackbird opened, and the unsuspecting X-men were to exit...

Louise fired a finger bone towards the place where the other Brotherhood members were; that was the signal to attack. She then nudged Lance so that he could shake things up a bit.

He grinned with unholy joy and shook the very ground beneath their feet; protestors screamed and attempted to scatter, many simply fell.

Rogue flew up into the sky; she pressed her communicator as soon as she saw the Brotherhood.

"It's the Brotherhood attacking us," she said. "I'm thinking that they're obviously involved with all this."

Paul nearly fell as the ground moved; he balanced himself just in time.

Rahne yelped and smacked face-first onto the quavering earth.

Paul helped Rahne up, with difficulty. "I'll stop them; Lance won't be expecting this," he said, angrily. It was just too bad that the Brotherhood would be here making trouble! Paul changed shape, taking Lance's own shape, and sent his own power right back to where the Brotherhood were.

Lance's eyes widened, but he sent a wave into the earth to cancel Paul's out.

"Dangz," she said, meaning 'thanks'; her nose was now bleeding from her impact with the concrete.

Louise cursed. She quickly shouted at the other members of the Brotherhood to attack straight away.

Chaos changed into his liquid form to ensure that some of the X-men slipped up. Blob attacked Laura, who tried to claw him but soon found that her fist was stuck in Blob's belly. He picked her up easily, and threw her. She knocked into Jean, sending her flying.

Rahne turned into a wolf. She snarled and set out to attack the Brotherhood.

The few brave protestors that didn't flee retreated a bit and shouted things like "This is why the freaks should be caged!"
