Storm waited for the Professor. It was best that he made the first move.

The professor went right up to Gyrich. "Dr. Gyrich, what are your plans regarding the Senator?" he said, preferring a direct approach this time.

[Miranda_]

Gyrich glared at the professor, then with good measure, at the others surrounding him.

"Why should I tell you anything, mutant?" he replied, with a sneer.

The professor arched a brow. "Save your contempt, doctor. Is it wrong of us to be concerned for the welfare of a U.S. Senator? After all, we've no idea what's happened to him after your Sentinels stole him from an archnemesis of mine."

[Miranda_]

Gyrich was about to reply when his phone rang from within the car. He pressed the button to answer it, remembering too late that he had the phone on speaker. A panicky voice issued from the speakers; the voice of Trask.

"Gyrich, are you there? Master Mold's taken over! He wants to remove Senator Kelly's brain, turn him into a robot! He's made thousands of Sentinals and they don't obey me any more. Are you there? Gyrich!"

The voice was abruptly cut off.

Charles' eyes first widened, then narrowed. He turned to face his fellow X-Men. "It sounds as though these Sentinels are no longer a threat to only mutants, but all mankind; we must stop this.

[Miranda_]

"You can't stop them!" Gyrich shook his head in disbelief. "Didn't you hear? Master Mold's made thousands of Sentinals. Thousands!"

Paul nodded in reply to Professor X. "We have to try," he said. "It's the only way to ensure that there's a future for anyone on this planet."

[spirit_queen]

"We must call in the rest of the X-Men, then," Charles said grimly.

[Miranda_]

"We'd better go now," Paul said. "We need to prepare."

He lowered his voice. "We got the co-ordinates from the Sentinal cpu so we know where to go."

[spirit_queen]

"Understood," the professor replied.
