"Right, thanks. See you later, Draven," Wendy said before taking her leave.

[Miranda_]

Draven reluctantly waited for his mother's arrival.

Since it was the day before the unknown first task, Pyotr was nervous. He was pacing and chewing his nails; he hated not knowing what to prepare for more than anything. Waiting wouldn't be half so bad if he knew what to expect...

[Miranda_]

Faina walked up to him. "Thinking about the first task?" she asked. "So am I. I wonder what it's going to be?"

[spirit_queen]

"I'm so nervous," Pyotr said, taking his hand and, thus, fingernails away from his mouth. "I- I don't think I'll even be able to sleep. How will I know what to do if I don't know what I'm up against? I hope it's not a task that'll require me to be too strong... I'm fast, but not strong... or I hope I don't have to fly, I hate flying with a passion..." Pyotr knew he was babbling but found himself unable to stop.

[Miranda_]

"The Hogwarts Champion doesn't like flying either, or so one of the students here told me," Faina replied. "In any case, you'll have your wand. You'll just have to keep your head; you'll be told, I expect, before you're expected to do the task. They won't just throw you in there."

Pyotr nodded. "I just- I need something to do to keep my mind off things, or I'll go mad before the task even begins," he said.

[Miranda_]

"We could go for a walk by the lake," Faina suggested.

[spirit_queen]

Pyotr smiled shyly at Faina. "R- really? That would be nice."

[Miranda_]

"Come on, then," Faina said, taking Pytro's arm and leading him towards the lake.
